A fan favorite Hallmark star just wrapped filming a new project and she gave everybody a teaser about what’s ahead. Barbara Niven has starred in Hallmark’s “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” movie series, and some fans thinking there may be another one on the way.
Barbara Niven Has Been Filming in Vancouver
On November 28, Niven shared her teaser on social media. On Facebook, she posted a video, and in the caption, she wrote, “I can’t wait to share more details—soon, I promise! Wish me luck packing!” She also posted the video on her Instagram page.
In the video, Niven shared, “I just got back from a day on set.”
She continued, “Tomorrow is our last day of filming, so that means that I have so much stuff I need to start packing tonight.”
Niven explained that when she travels to location to film, she brings several suitcases and a carry-on. She brings items that will help her temporary living space feel like home away from home. That means she brings things like a pillow, blankets, a coffee maker, and her yoga mat, which makes packing to head home a bit of a process.
The Hallmark star shared with fans that when she starts the process of packing to return home, she cracks open a bottle of her father’s favorite wine, Yellowtail Shiraz, to “share” with him. Her father died some time ago, but she noted he was born in Vancouver, so spending time there is quite special to her.
“Dad, I feel you around me, every time I’m here,” Niven shared in her video.
As she wrapped her teaser, Niven added, “So, cheers to another movie done, almost wrapped, as of tomorrow, and cheers to all of you too, for watching. We hope you like it when you see it. I love you dearly. Cheers! Now I gotta go pack. I’ll have one sip.”
Hallmark Fans Loved Niven’s Post
One fan commented, “I saw a picture of Victor [Webster] looking like Chad. I also saw he was in Canada filming too. I am smiling.”
Niven did not mention what the project is that she has been filming. Some Hallmark fans think, or at least hope, it’s another “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” movie. Even if it isn’t, it sounds as if Niven is starring in something fun for Hallmark that she should be able to reveal soon.
“Barbara, I get the sense that you really love it up here (Vancouver). I know that you film quite a bit up here, so your Dad’s first home is kinda like your second home…Also we love and adore you here,” another fan wrote.
“Cheers to you and looking forward to seeing your magic,” shared someone else.
An additional Facebook comment read, “I love you in all your movies, but especially Hannah Swensen Mysteries! Delores is so much fun!!”
A fan added, “Love you and cannot wait to see the movie, and every one after it!!”
