HGTV is rolling into another packed week of programming, and honestly, it seems like the network clearly has no plans to slow down anytime soon. The primetime schedule for May 4–10, 2026 is filled with renovation favorites, dream-home wish fulfillment, international real estate adventures, and a major new premiere to close out the weekend.
This week’s lineup also keeps leaning into the mix HGTV fans love most: a little comfort TV, a little design inspiration, and plenty of homes that somehow make viewers immediately rethink their own living spaces. From tropical renovations to house-hunting marathons, there’s something airing nearly every night that feels built for an easy binge-watch session.
What’s Happening This Week on HGTV
Getty“Rock the Block” continues its latest run with another new episode, while “My Lottery Dream Home” returns with more over-the-top property shopping and jackpot-fueled wish fulfillment.
Meanwhile, “Renovation Aloha” remains one of the network’s strongest tropical escape series, balancing renovation transformations with island scenery that could probably convince almost anyone to browse flights by the end of the episode.
The “House Hunters” universe is also still dominating the schedule. Between the flagship series, “House Hunters International,” and “House Hunters Australia,” the franchise continues to take over multiple nights of programming. At this point, it seems like HGTV has fully embraced the idea that viewers will never get tired of watching people debate countertops and open floor plans.
This week also continues the rollout of “Zillow Gone Wild,” which has quickly become one of the network’s more chaotic additions. The series taps into the internet’s fascination with bizarre real estate listings and unusual homes, giving HGTV a slightly different energy compared to its more traditional renovation shows.
But the biggest headline of the week is Sunday night’s premiere of “Home Town: Inn This Together.” The new series expands the “Home Town” brand once again and gives HGTV another major event-style premiere heading into the summer season.
