Evans Takes the Oscars Stage as a Presenter
Although Evans’ recent film “Materialists,” which also stars Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal, was not nominated for major awards at the ceremony, the actor still took part in the show.
Evans is scheduled to present during the evening alongside several other stars, including Chase Infiniti, Paul Mescal, and Anne Hathaway.
The ceremony honors the year’s most celebrated performances and films as Hollywood gathers for the 98th Academy Awards.
Chris Evans Opens Up About Marriage and Starting a Family

Ahead of their daughter’s birth, Evans shared that the couple had been embracing a quieter pace together.
“We’re laying low,” he explained to E! News in June 2025. “We’re enjoying our time, just relaxing.”
Evans has often spoken about how much building a family means to him. The actor married Baptista in 2023 and previously said he had always hoped to build a life deeply rooted in love and tradition.
“It’s incredible,” Evans said of married life. “It’s wonderful.”
Years earlier, Evans shared similar hopes about the future.
“That’s absolutely something I want,” he told People in 2022. “Wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
As Evans added at the time, “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
Judging by the smiles, mom and dad clearly enjoyed their night out.
