The actress posed for photos with bold eye makeup, drawn-on eyebrows, and her long black hair was used as a plunging top. In pictures, it looks as though she is wearing nothing underneath, but in a close-up snap, when her hair moved, she appeared to be wearing coverings. To complete her look, she wore fitted jeans and a belt buckle of her co-star Paul W. Downs’ face.

On the red carpet, she posed alongside Downs, who matched her energy and her outfit. He opted for jeans, a black T-shirt, a belt buckle with Stalter’s face, and a studded bracelet wrapped around his calf.

The pair also took to the stage during the 52nd American Music Awards, which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fans React to Megan Stalter & Paul W. Downs’ Epic Looks

Photos of Stalter and Downs’ attendance were shared on the official AMA Instagram account. In one photo, Downs appears to be brushing Stalter’s hair to keep it in place. The caption on the post reads, “Stop what you’re doing Hacks legends @megsstalter and @paulwdowns are in the building #AMAs.”

Stalter also shared photos from the night on Instagram, crediting those who helped with her look. “We just got off our dirt bikes and didn’t wash our hands,” she wrote in the caption. “STYLED BY @kattypaldos MAKEUP @alexandraafrench HAIR @claytonhawkins.” Fans were eager to react, sharing their thoughts on Stalter and Downs’ appearance.

“Hottest couple,” a comment reads. “The hair is everything!!!,” another person shared. Other reactions include, “Where is the Hacks spin off? I need it immediately. Already having withdrawal symptoms,” “they look amazing,” and “Can you guys go on tour? Make him go on tour with you and just stand there while you sing.”

Embracing Her Time on ‘Hacks’

“Hacks” has been successful, and Stalter has been celebrated for her comedic genius. She plays the role of Kayla Schaeffer, assistant to Downs’ character Jimmy LuSaque Jr. Speaking of her character in a June 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Stalter referred to Kayla as “someone who is so nervous and confident at the same time.”

In her interview, she also discussed her inspirations for comedy material, and very little is off the table, including first-date conversations, TikTokers, and other celebrities. “I like to make fun of the things that I am,” she said. “You can only make fun of something in an endearing way if you really love it.”

Ending their journey on the show has been emotional. In May, Stalter and Downs gave a joint interview to Elle about their experience working together and on “Hacks.” Stalter also discussed the emotions she experienced on their last day on set. “My last day was in Vegas, a crowd scene. I cried, freaked out, had a really hard time,” she said. “Ran into somebody I used to nanny for on the street. He was like, ‘are you guys doing? Are you filming ‘Hacks?’ It was really weird, scary, terrifying.”

She continued, “I nannied so I could do comedy. So to see him on the last day of this life-changing job, it was really weird … But I felt really sick. I started crying. I was saying things on camera that were really scaring everyone. I can’t even say them right now. It’s hard because to see Paul work with someone else is going to really make me sick. For me to work with someone else, doesn’t that make you nervous?”
