Where to Watch the American Music Awards 2026
The 52nd American Music Awards will take place in Las Vegas tonight. The AMAs 2026 will be held at the world-renowned MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The award celebration will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026, starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The AMAs 2026 will be available to watch on CBS. In addition, the ceremony will also stream live on Paramount+ for subscribers with the Paramount+ Premium plan.
Following the live broadcast, the ceremony will be available to watch on demand on Paramount+ the following day.
Who is Hosting the 2026 American Music Awards?
Award-winning musician and actress Queen Latifah was announced as the AMAs host earlier this year. This isn’t Queen’s first time hosting the show, but it has been a while. Queen previously hosted in 1995 with Tom Jones and country star Lorrie Morgan.
What is she most excited about with hosting tonight? She told the Hollywood Reporter, “I like to see the younger artists watch the artists who’ve been around the block a few times do it. There’s a certain comfort level when you’ve been rocking shows like this for a while. When you’re an up-and-coming artist who hopes to do this for years and years to come, like maybe an Olivia Dean, you get to see someone who’s been doing this forever and [they’ll] say, “OK, that’s what I got to do. I got to be comfortable like that.” You get to take a little tidbit here and there that you can keep and use for yourself, and make sure you’re one of these longevity artists 30 years from now doing the same thing.
2026 American Music Awards Nominees
We have some new and old artists mixed in with this year’s nominees. Leading the pack for the 2026 AMAs is Taylor Swift with seven nominations.
Swift is followed by a group of performers, all with seven nominations. Those artists are Sombr, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sabrina Carpenter.
In addition to this year’s nominees, the 2026 AMAs will also present special awards on the night. Darius Rucker will receive the Veterans Voice Award.
We will also see Billy Idol receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Karol G will receive the International Artist Award of Excellence.
Who Is Performing at the American Music Awards 2026?
