Kelly Osbourne’s Son Adorably Channels Grandpa Ozzy in Halloween Clip: ‘Learned From the Greatest, Papa!’

Ozzy Osbourne’s grandson is already showing he inherited the family’s flair for rock-star theatrics. In a playful new TikTok video, Kelly Osbourne’s 2-year-old son, Sidney, adorably re-created his grandpa’s infamous 1982 onstage “bat” moment, and fans can’t get enough.

A Sweet Nod to Ozzy’s Rock & Roll Legacy

Wearing a skeleton-print outfit and red cowboy boots, Sidney held a stuffed bat and bit its head off before dropping it into his hand and laughing. “Learned from the greatest, Papa!” Kelly captioned the clip, nodding to Ozzy’s legendary concert incident that became one of rock music’s most unforgettable moments.

The clip instantly grabbed fans’ attention, with many praising the adorable tribute to Ozzy’s larger-than-life rock persona. Fittingly, his iconic hit “Crazy Train” played in the background, creating a full-circle moment that connected three generations of Osbournes through one of rock’s most timeless anthems.

Nearly three years before his passing at age 76 in July, Ozzy spoke about the infamous bat incident in an interview with People. “I know when I eventually do leave this place, it’s going to be, ‘Ah, the man who bit the head off the bat — he joined the bat today,’” he joked. “I’ve achieved quite a lot in my life, but all people do is go, ‘Ozzy, what do bats really taste like?’”

Ozzy’s Close Bond With His Grandson

Kelly has often spoken about the special bond between her son and his famous grandfather. In a May interview with People, she gushed, “Oh my God, they’re best friends. His favorite time of the day is nighttime because [Sidney] leaves me and gets in bed with my mom and dad. They have cartoon time together, and it’s the sweetest thing ever.”

The 39-year-old shared that while staying with her parents during home renovations, she has grown inseparable from them. “I have to literally rip him out of their bed because he loves spending time with them so much,” Kelly added.

The Osbourne family recently gathered to celebrate Ozzy’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2024. Kelly attended the event with Sidney, who wore a tiny black suit and bow tie. Her brother Jack Osbourne also shared a family photo from the celebration, captioning it, “Crew @rockhall.”

From legendary performances to playful family moments, Ozzy’s legacy continues to live on — this time through his grandson’s adorable Halloween tribute that reminded fans of both the rock icon’s wild past and the tender bond that keeps his family close.
