Christian “King” Combs is back in the headlines after an attempted break-in at a Los Angeles-area home connected to him. Police responded early Thursday.
LAPD responded to a Porter Ranch home around 12:45 a.m. on March 26. Police described the call as a “hot prowl,” according to TMZ. KTLA 5 News confirmed with LAPD that no one was inside the home at the time of the incident and no shots were fired.
What Happened

A burglary “hot prowl” refers to a situation where a suspect attempts to enter a home while residents may be inside, making it a higher-priority call for police.
An employee at the residence placed the initial call to authorities, and a second person monitoring surveillance footage remotely also contacted LAPD around the same time, TMZ reported.
Suspects attempted to enter through the rear of the home but did not succeed, according to KTLA. Officers found no signs of forced entry, and the suspects had already left the area.
Video From the Scene
KTLA obtained video showing multiple police vehicles outside the large Porter Ranch home. Officers searched the property overnight. At least one officer checked the back of the home with a flashlight, according to TMZ.
King Combs and Raven Tracy’s Home
TMZ reviewed property records that show the Porter Ranch home is owned by Combs’ girlfriend, Raven Tracy, an entrepreneur and founder of the clothing brand Body By Raven Tracy.
The couple went public with their relationship in January 2023, according to TheCityCeleb. In an August 2024 Instagram post, Tracy wrote that the couple had just moved into their first home together.
Police Response Details
LAPD officers responded to the call shortly after it was reported and conducted a search of the property, according to KTLA. Authorities cleared the scene after they confirmed there were no suspects on-site and no signs of forced entry.
Police have not said how many individuals may have been involved or whether surveillance footage shows a clear description of the suspects. It is also unclear if investigators believe the home was specifically targeted.
Investigation Ongoing
LAPD confirmed to KTLA that officers took a burglary report at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. No further details about the suspects or a possible motive have been released. Additional information is expected as it becomes available.
