Post Malone’s ‘Quaint’ Childhood Home in Texas Is Selling for $549K: SEE INSIDE

Post Malone‘s childhood home in Texas — an abode that Realtor.com describes as “quaint” — has gone up for sale. Hitting the market for $549,000, the house is selling “over a decade after he traded the Lone Star State for California amid his stratospheric rise to stardom.”

“While the 30-year-old rapper and singer—whose real name is Austin Richard Post—has long since made a name for himself as one of the industry’s most prominent stars, his origins as a youngster in Grapevine, TX, are much more humble,” according to Realtor.com.

Bought by the star’s family in 2006, when he was 10 years old, the house is where the future star would begin his path to fame and fortune by delving into music.

“This home blends modern comfort, prime location, and a one-of-a-kind story—an exceptional opportunity in one of North Texas’ most desirable communities,” according to the Zillow listing.

The Home Has Undergone Recent Upgrades

Post’s childhood home was built in 1987; however, “[r]ecent upgrades include a beautifully updated primary bathroom, triple-pane energy-efficient windows, a new AC unit, and a new water heater, plus many additional improvements,” according to the listing.

Offering 1,685 square feet of space, the listing notes that “[t]his thoughtfully renovated residence offers an open-concept floor plan with excellent flow, abundant natural light, and a great use of space throughout.”

The living room features a fireplace, wood flooring and a sizable window that lets in natural light, per Realtor.com. There is also a large window in the dining area, which also “boasts modern overhead lighting.”

Along with the kitchen, which includes an island and state-of-the-art appliances, there’s also a breakfast nook.

The carpeted bedrooms are large enough for a queen-sized bed, while Realtor.com notes that the “bathrooms feature double marble vanities, a soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed shower.”

Outside the Home Is a ‘Private Backyard Oasis’

When it comes to the exterior of the home, the front of the house features a red door, white paneling and lots of greenery.

As for the back of the residence, the new owners will be able to “[s]tep outside to a private backyard oasis featuring a sparkling pool and upgraded decking, perfect for entertaining or relaxing Texas-style,” according to the listing.

The listing also points out that the home is “[i]deally located less than a one-mile walk to Grapevine’s sought-after Main Street, offering endless dining, shopping, and access to the nearby recreation center.”
