LISTEN: Emergency Dispatch Audio from Terrifying Attack on Treasured Popstar Rihanna’s Home

Rihanna is safe and a suspect has been apprehended after Sunday afternoon’s frightening incident. Frantic dispatch communications featuring emergency personnel scrambling to put the facts together immediately after the terrifying gun attack in which at least one bullet struck the gate of Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion while she was inside has been released.

On the call, a dispatcher can be heard speaking extremely fast and saying that “approximately 10 shots” were heard. A bit later, the words, “A shooting just occurred. We believe the shots came from across the street” can be heard. The call, which is difficult to understand in some parts, also mentions “a white Tesla” and that “10 shots” were “fired from the vehicle.” Another voice then asks, “Can you find out the make of that Tesla? I’m sorry, the model?”

The car is described on the call as a “Tesla 4 door with paper license plates, unknown model.” A speaker on the call can also be heard saying, “The suspect was seen going south out of Coldwater Canyon.” Coldwater Canyon is an exclusive neighborhood and thoroughfare near Beverly Hills.” Responders then mention a plan to check cameras for a license plate.

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, has been apprehended and is being held on $10.225 million bail, according to People. Thankfully, Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, and their three children were unharmed.

The report also reveals a law enforcement source told them “a round penetrated a wall of the mansion.”

The outlet’s report says the suspect, a Florida resident, used an AR-15 style weapon. The report quotes an LAPD spokesperson as saying, “When they pulled the suspect over and took her into custody, they searched the vehicle and located an assault rifle and seven casings.”
