Rihanna is wearing a permanent reminder of her children — and fans are melting over the touching tribute.
The singer and beauty mogul recently added a meaningful new tattoo to her already extensive collection, this time opting for something especially personal.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the emotional tribute, calling it one of Rihanna’s sweetest tattoos yet.

Celebrity tattoo artist Keith McCurdy, better known as Bang Bang, revealed Rihanna’s newest ink in an Instagram post shared Friday, May 8, giving followers a close-up look at the sentimental design.
According to Bang Bang, the tattoo was “designed by her babies,” referencing Rihanna’s three children with partner A$AP Rocky.
Rather than choosing an elaborate image or symbolic phrase, Rihanna decided to immortalize something much more heartfelt: her children’s doodles.
The tattoo features a replica of colorful scribbles originally drawn by her kids on paper decorated with “Paw Patrol” stickers.
While the original artwork included bright marker colors, Rihanna chose to recreate the design in simple black ink.
The finished tattoo sits discreetly on the back of her lower leg, just behind her knee.
Bang Bang’s tattoo studio also shared videos from the appointment, showing Rihanna laughing through the process and admiring the finished result.
“The torture I’ve endured in this shop,” Rihanna joked in one clip while getting tattooed.
Rihanna Likes to Keep Her Kids Private
Although Rihanna occasionally shares glimpses of motherhood, she has remained fiercely protective of her children’s privacy.
After welcoming her first child, the Grammy winner spoke candidly in a 2023 interview with British Vogue about her desire to keep her kids out of the spotlight.
“It’s the thing you never want to happen,” she said of unauthorized photos of her children. “We get to decide as parents when and how we do that. End of story.”
“Throw me to the wolves. Do what you want with me,” she continued. “But he doesn’t have a say in any of this.”
Despite keeping much of family life private, Rihanna’s newest tattoo offers a rare and deeply personal glimpse into motherhood.
Rihanna Had Been Going to the Shop for Years
In another moment shared from the session, the “Umbrella” singer playfully added, “Make sure my [expletive] looks good in the main shots.”
The tattoo artist’s post also featured Rihanna checking out the final design in the mirror, along with throwback photos documenting their decades-long friendship and professional relationship.

Rihanna is mom to three children with A$AP Rocky: sons RZA Athelston Mayers, born in 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, born in 2023, as well as daughter Rocki Irish Mayers, who arrived in September 2025.
