Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, have welcomed their third baby into the world. Joining sons, two-year-old Riot and three-year-old RZA, the singer took to Instagram to reveal the arrival of a daughter as well as the little one’s name.
“Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025,” Rihanna captioned her post. She also included a pair of photos to celebrate the newborn. In the first pic, the now mom of three can be seen holding little Rocki while both the mother and baby are wrapped up in pink.
The second shot includes a look at a pair of pink boxing gloves and long matching ribbons which is seemingly a tribute to the baby’s name and its connection to the Rocky movie character who was a boxer.
The Announcement Stirred Up Plenty of Reactions

Of course, one hopeful fan of Rihanna’s music wrote, “NOW SHE HAS A GIRL SHE CAN GO TO BACK TO THE STUDIO.” You can’t blame them for trying!
A$AP Rocky Recently Spoke About Having a Baby Girl
GettyRihanna and A$AP Rocky would surely have been excited about having a third son, however, the rapper was apparently hoping for a daughter this time around.
“I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he told Elle in a recent interview. “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”
“I feel like it’s going to be a girl,” he continued. “This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
Rihanna also talked about the possibility of having a daughter, telling Extra in July, “I’ve always wanted a girl. But God knows best, right? And I love my boys.”
