Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, collectively known as the Duffer Brothers, are the geniuses behind the brilliant sci-fi horror series. Having created it, they also function as the show’s directors and executive producers.
Back in 2016, the brothers cast the then-little known 12-year-old Brown as Eleven on “Stranger Things.” She has gone on to become a major Hollywood star, and has shown her appreciation to them for providing her with such a high-profile platform now that the show has reached its climax.

Millie Bobby Brown shared a post on her Instagram account, where she has amassed a staggering 65.3 million followers, to thank the Duffer Brothers for taking a chance on her nearly a decade ago.

She has gone on to appear in major movies like 2019’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” 2020’s “Enola Holmes,” 2021’s “Godzilla vs. Kong,” 2022’s “Enola Holmes 2,” 2024’s “Damsel,” and 2025’s “The Electric State.”
