The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has provided a major update in the Nancy Guthrie investigation regarding DNA evidence that was discovered inside gloves found approximately 2 miles from Nancy Guthrie’s home.
“DNA evidence from gloves found approximately 2 miles from Nancy Guthrie’s residence was submitted to CODIS & produced no matches,” the new post on social media said. “There is additional DNA evidence that was found at the residence that is also being analyzed.”
The Guthrie Family Has Been Ruled out As Suspects
In a statement on Monday, February 16, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed that the relatives were eliminated as suspects within days of Nancy’s disappearance.
“To be clear… the Guthrie family – to include all siblings and spouses – has been cleared as possible suspects in this case. The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,” the post said. “To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims plain and simple… please, I’m begging you the media to honor your profession and report with some sense of compassion and professionalism.”
Nanos went into more detail about how the family was ruled out when speaking with People.
“We talked to them, we took their phones, we took their computers,” Nanos said. “I mean, we did everything. We processed their vehicles, we processed their homes. They have been really … They’re victims.”
Former FBI Agent Says Suspect In Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance Is Likely An ‘Amateur Criminal
When speaking with Fox News Digital, Jonny Grusing, who served as an agent in behavioral analysis with the FBI’s Denver Division, revealed his thoughts on the masked suspect, saying that he believes it “could be an amateur criminal.”
“I think he got in way over his head with whatever happened with Nancy, and they’re hoping that he is panicking enough since his family and friends haven’t turned him in,” Grusing said.
“If you look at him and the awkwardness of this guy walking up there, this guy is not a professional,” he added. “So I don’t think whatever happened in the house is what he intended to happen. What I would say is that he didn’t plan for this sort of news coverage, for this sort of intense searching, for the FBI to come in and for this to be going on two weeks later.”
And with that, Grusing is confident that the suspect will eventually be caught.
“He’s going to be arrested. At one point, he’s going to get turned in, something’s going to break,” he said.

I might be wrong, but I do not think so. This was an vengeful act. That poor lady wronged no one. This was arranged by someone that was seeking revenge against a close family member. What I read into this, is not good. GOD has Mrs. Guthrie, he knew it was going to happen before it happened. She is an Angel of sorts. I pray her safe return home. But GOD is in
control. His will, will be done. Much thanks to everyone that is trying to assure her safe return.
Did she every say anything about Trump? People are saying he’s behind this to deflect from the Epstein files.
