Which Panelists Will Return to Hot Topics Table on ‘The View?’
On August 27, 2026 ABC confirmed the panelists and hosts that will return to the Hot Topics table on “The View.”
Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin are all scheduled to return to their seats at the Hot Topics table. The network shared news via Instagram.
The post’s caption read, “Your favorite women of daytime are back for season 30! The celebration kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 8 on ABC.”

‘The View’ Cast Teases Big Surprises For Premiere Week
The cast shared details of what viewers can expect as Season 30 debuts. All the hosts took turns sharing a message about the newest installment of shows in a new promotional clip.
“The countdown is on,” said a montage of Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. “An all new season of ‘The View,'” added Sara Haines. “See you soon America!”
“New season, new ‘View’ be there,” exclaimed Joy Behar. “Let’s do this!”
Whoopi Goldberg noted, “This is why you always have to keep coming back. ‘Cause you never know what’s gonna happen.”
According to People Magazine, who reported on an exclusive clip provided to them by the daytime talk show, a video opens with a throwback quote from the show’s creator, Barbara Walters, who died in 2022. She said, “Take a little time to enjoy ‘The View.’”
Behar quipped, “Thirty years on ‘The View,’ really?” Behar exclaimed. “I feel like I’ve been here since my prom!” The teaser added that fans will have a lot to look forward during the talk show’s premiere week.
Joy Behar is the longest-serving panelist. She was an original cast member, beginning in 1996. Whoopi Goldberg began in 2007. Both Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines started in 2016. Ana Navarro began as a guest co-host in 2013, became a contributor two years later and was moved to a permanent hosting slot in 2022. Alyssa Farah Griffin also joined in 2022.
The View returns beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8 on ABC, streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
