“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania is settling in among the glamorous women of Rhode Island after officially joining the highly anticipated new franchise, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” as a friend of the cast.
At BravoCon 2025, fans got their first look at the series when the debut RHORI trailer premiered, introducing the dynamic, multi-layered women of the Ocean State. While viewers are excited to meet the fresh new cast, they’re just as eager to see Catania return to their screens, and she’s already teasing some behind-the-scenes secrets of the upcoming season.
Dolores Catania Spills on ‘The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’
GettyAt BravoCon 2025, Dolores Catania shared some insider scoop on “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” the buzzy new franchise already making waves.
Speaking to Chanel Ayan, who hosted the BravoCon red carpet, Catania shared, “Filming any Housewives show, no matter what, can sometimes be stressful. People think it’s easy; it’s not. So, I’m looking forward to seeing how all the fans love Rhode Island.”
If Catania finds RHORI filming “stressful,” it makes you wonder if she’s teasing the kind of behind-the-scenes drama Bravo fans live for.
Speaking further with Ayan, who teased that she already knew all the hot gossip about the upcoming series thanks to Catania, the “Real Housewives of Dubai” star hyped the franchise even more by saying, “You guys gotta keep watching, because it’s gonna be a hot show.”
Catania Promises the RHORI Women Are Carving out Their Own Identities
Catania joined “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge on the Nov. 18 episode of “Two Ts In A Pod,” the podcast Judge co-hosts with Teddi Mellencamp, where she offered even more insight into the RHORI women.
Catania wanted listeners to be aware that the seven women would not be trying to “emulate other housewives,” hoping that viewers would see that they are bringing their own vibe.
“I need you to know that these girls are not trying to emulate other Housewives. They are themselves and I love it,” Catania told Judge.
She continued, “It’s raw, they are not afraid of bloggers, they don’t know much about bloggers. They are not big on social media, but I’m sure they’re getting it now. But this first season, these girls are absolutely themselves, and it reminded me of Jersey before things got crazy.”
When Judge asked Catania who she believed was the “breakout star” of the first season, she didn’t hesitate to say “Liz McGraw.” According to her Bravo bio, McGraw is the “Cannabis Queen,” as she and her husband own and operate “the most successful cannabis dispensary in Rhode Island.”
But with Catania and McGraw looking so strikingly alike, could that be the real reason she crowned her the season’s breakout star?
Along with McGraw, the cast includes Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Rulla Nehme, Kelsey Swanson, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, and Bachelor Nation’s Ashley Iaconetti.
