Dorit Kemsley is opening up about her experience at Kyle Richards’ daughter Alexia Umansky’s wedding — and revealed that Kyle herself was the only castmate who approached her during the event.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared that while several familiar faces were in attendance, her interactions throughout the evening were limited.
Dorit Kemsley Shares What Happened at Alexia Umansky’s Wedding
Looking back on the celebration, Dorit explained that she wasn’t initially sure whether she would attend, especially given where things stood within the group at the time.
“PK, I don’t know if he got the invitation last minute because up until the day before, I didn’t even know he was going to the wedding. But then I found out,” Dorit said on the April 16 episode of the “RHOBH: After Show.”
Dorit said she had a sense going into the event that it might be an uncomfortable situation.
“All of the [girls] thought, ‘She’s never gonna show up.’ In fact, they probably invited PK so that I wouldn’t show up. Guess what I did? I showed … on my own, walked in, head held high all on my own,” she continued.
Once there, Dorit said the experience didn’t fully shift.
“Not one of them — Erika [Jayne], Sutton [Stracke], and PK — acknowledged my presence. Not one,” she stated.
She then clarified that Kyle did take a moment to acknowledge her.
“She’s the only one. She came up to me, and she gave me a kiss, and she said, you know, ‘Thank you for coming,’” Dorit recalled.
Dorit Reflects on the Invitation
Dorit also shared her perspective on the circumstances surrounding the invitation, noting that the group dynamic at the time may have played a role in how everything unfolded.
“Because how is she gonna explain not inviting me if she’s saying she wants to move forward, if she’s playing this publicly, she’s saying, ‘I want to move forward, I’m so glad it’s behind us?’” Dorit said. “That’s the image that she’s portraying.”
Kyle Richards Explains Why Dorit Was Invited
Kyle, for her part, said she felt it was important to include both Dorit and PK in the celebration, even amid ongoing tension.
“To me, it was, you know, we invite both, and whoever’s not comfortable, you know, they’re not gonna come. And he’s one of Mau’s best friends, and Mau wants his close friends there. And, lo and behold, they both showed up,” Kyle explained.
Kyle also expressed appreciation that Dorit attended the wedding.
“I’m appreciative of her showing up to Alexia’s wedding. That actually gave me hope that, like, that’s the Dorit that I know. And I know that she cares about my daughters like I care about her children,” she said.
Castmates Recall the Moment Differently
While Dorit described limited interaction, others offered a slightly different perspective on the night.
“At one point, I was standing there, and I saw Erika and Dorit at the bar … but they were just invisible to each other, and it was a really weird moment,” Kyle said.
Erika echoed that sentiment, adding, “She didn’t speak to us. [But] it was a beautiful night … This is being adults and showing up for people when maybe everything isn’t so comfortable. And you do that for your friends.”
A Look at Where Things Stand
Despite the mixed experience, Dorit’s reflections offer a glimpse into how relationships within the group continue to evolve — even during major milestones like Alexia Umansky’s wedding.
The mother of the bride also shared a brief update on the newlyweds.
“Alexia and Jake are doing great. They are settling into married life,” Kyle said.
