“RHOA” alum Eva Marcille is opening up about the friendship she formed with Teresa Giudice while filming the upcoming season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
Marcille competed on season 4 of the reality show alongside both Giudice and her daughter Gia, which she called a “luxury.” “Teresa … her and I had such a beautiful opportunity to get to know each other,” she shared with Us Weekly, adding that the show brought out a side of them that the public has yet to see.
“The world thinks that they know who we are, but they have no clue,” Marcille said. To share in such an intense experience with Giudice was special, as it was far from the glam world of “Housewives.”
“To be with each other, to be able to be our authentic selves … there’s no mascara. Like, we were sharing deodorant,” the former model revealed.
Eva Marcille Gained a New Respect for Teresa Giudice
Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” is no joke, with celebrities performing tasks that mimic the military training of the U.S. Special Forces. Season 4, which premieres on September 25, takes place in Morocco and features Chanel Iman, Brittany Cartwright, Jussie Smollett, Kody Brown, and others along with Marcille and the mother-daughter Giudice duo.
According to Marcille, the punishing atmosphere of the show helped bring her and Guidice together in a deeper way. “It’s not when it’s all glitzy and and glamorous and everything’s beautiful … when you’re in the trenches and you have nothing it’s like ‘do I save this for me? Or do I share because she’s hungry too?'”
The “RHOA” alum continued, “It’s a different kind of a sisterhood and I am so lucky I was able to get to know Teresa on that level.” Marcille went on to call Guidice “a badass,” explaining, “She is determined … she is a mama bear. I think that we thought that, but I felt it.”
Marcille Would Do ‘Special Forces’ Again Over ‘Housewives’
GettyMarcille is no stranger to the reality TV world, having made her debut on “America’s Next Top Model” in 2004. She won the show’s third cycle when she was just 19, and later defended host Tyra Banks amid backlash from some of the show’s other contestants. “Every intention she had was pure,” Marcille told AP News in 2024.
Marcille joined “RHOA” as a “friend” in season 10 and was part of the main cast for seasons 11 and 12. In 2022 she also took part in “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” season 2. But she is not planning a return to the franchise any time soon.
“Housewives, it’s like, ‘What did you eat for dinner last night? How are you gonna do your daughter’s sweet 16?’” she told Us Weekly. “I would do ‘Special Forces’ again.”
