Jennifer Aniston’s new relationship has an unexpected Bravo connection. The actress is dating hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, and according to Bethenny Frankel, she dated him “maybe 10 years ago.”
The revelation came during the Sept. 2 episode of Frankel’s podcast “Just B with Bethenny Frankel.” The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum shared the surprising connection while discussing Aniston’s new romance.

“I dated Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend and he was a nice guy,” Frankel said. The reality TV star explained that she would not go into details “out of respect” for Aniston and Curtis, but she confirmed their brief romance.
Frankel went on to praise Curtis while reflecting on their past relationship. “I’m happy for her, and I want to say this in the right way. His name is Jim Curtis, and he’s getting a lot of attention because he’s with her now and he’s in like the wellness space,” she said.
Curtis has spent more than two decades working in health and wellness. According to his website, he is a hypnotherapist, life coach and author. Frankel noted that while wellness was part of Curtis’ career path, it wasn’t something they explored together during their time as a couple.
“He was earlier in his journey. But with that and with the wellness aspect, there was an earthiness to it, and it does vibe with Jen Aniston,” Frankel said.
She added that she believes Aniston and Curtis are a good match. “I’m happy for Jennifer Aniston because I do believe she wants to find love. I do believe it’s been difficult, as I understand as well as anybody can, and I do believe she’s sort of got that earthy, mellow side to her.”
Frankel concluded her remarks on a hopeful note: “I think this is good. I like it, and I’m happy for her and for him, who, like I said, I thought was a lovely man.”

According to Cosmopolitan, Aniston, 56, and Curtis were first linked in May when eagle-eyed fans noticed Curtis liked one of Aniston’s Instagram posts, which featured a copy of his book, Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide. People later confirmed the two were “casually dating and having fun.”
The pair have since been seen on multiple outings, including a dinner date at Nobu in Malibu. A source also told People that Aniston’s inner circle already approves of Curtis.
“Jim’s great. Her close friends love him. He’s amazing to be around. He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it,” the insider said.
With Frankel’s candid comments and Aniston’s new relationship continuing to capture attention, the couple’s romance is already generating buzz in both Hollywood and Bravo circles.
