Mary Cosby’s Faith Temple Pentecostal Church Location & Details

Along with starring as a main cast member on “Real Housewives of Salty Lake City,” Mary Cosby is a pastor and the First Lady of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. She also stays busy as a mom of one. Her church’s official website lists Dr. Rosemary Redmon Cosby as the founder, and Mary and her husband, Bishop Robert C. Cosby, as those presiding. Mary is referred to as First Lady and Evangelist on the site.

Rosemary, who was Mary’s grandmother, died in 1997, according to an obituary in the Deseret News.

Where Is Mary Cosby’s Church Located?

The website of Faith Temple Church reveals there are two locations. The site lists the address of the church’s headquarters, Faith Temple Pentecostal Church I, as 1510 S. Richards St., Salt Lake City, Utah, 84115. The church’s second location, Faith Temple Pentecostal Church II, is located at 1002, E. Garfield Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46203.

A history of the church reveals the church was founded as a result of Rosemary, who is referred to as “Mama,” venturing away from her home state of Indianapolis and traveling to Salt Lake City “determined to obey God.”

Accompanied by her four children, she took a bus to Kansas City, Missouri and began walking from there the rest of the way to Salt Lake City, per the history, which goes on to say Mama was taken in by a woman named Mrs. Campbell after pausing in Junction City, Kansas. By running a revival which caused word to spread about her journey and intentions, she was able to raise enough money for train tickets to Salt Lake City, where she struggled at first, but eventually established a successful church.

Mary Cosby’s ‘RHOSLC’ Costars Praised Her Preaching

Cosby reopened her church in late November 2025 after two years of renovations, and some of her Bravo costars got to see her preach. In a reaction video, the ladies shared what they thought of seeing the 53-year-old at the pulpit.

“It was spectacular. I’m a sucker for religion, I’m a sucker for a preacher. And Mary just spoke with power,” gushed Heather Gay in a Bravo clip.

Angie Katsanevas exclaimed, “She shines! She was so beautiful up there. She was glowing.”

Whitney Rose remarked on how the church version is a side the cast doesn’t see very often from Mary, before calling her “so powerful and magnificent.” She also highlighted how Mary’s ability to preach contrasts with the Mormon rules. “In the Mormon church, women don’t get the opportunity to do that as much. They don’t get up and lead at church.”

Cosby explained her preaching philosophy, saying, “I do believe God speaks through us. And I believe there’s no way you can speak to 500 people and not get it from the higher help.
