Teresa Giudice Talks Filming New RHONJ Season After Melissa & Joe Gorga Reunion

The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has opened up about her reunion with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga after years of being estranged. Giudice addressed how their reunion will fit into the new season of RHONJ now that Season 15 is confirmed.

Teresa Giudice Sets the Record Straight on Filming with Melissa and Joe Gorga

News that both Giudice and the Gorgas are back for Season 15 of RHONJ, along with Dolores Catania, has raised a few questions about filming. One of those questions Giudice answered during an appearance on the “Couple Things” podcast with hosts Shawn Johnson East and her husband, Andrew East.

“It’s baby steps, and we’re not sure if we’re going to film together or not. Bravo hasn’t said anything. But, if we do, there’s a running joke that I don’t watch my show but this time I’m going to definitely watch it,” Giudice expressed.

In the past, Giudice, her sister-in-law, and her brother haven’t had each other’s backs. More times than fans can count, they turned on each other instead of standing by each other.

Giudice hopes that history doesn’t repeat itself when the cameras start rolling again.

“Hopefully, we’ll both have each other’s backs. That’s all I want. I love that. I want to show America what my family was really about, how I was raised. My brother and I always had each other’s backs,” the Bravo star stated.

RHONJ Was Put on Pause Over Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas

In August 2024, RHONJ was put on an indefinite break. Things were so bad with the New Jersey cast that a Season 14 reunion wasn’t even filmed, which outraged fans.

The cast was instead divided into two groups to watch the epic Season 14 finale that left Rails Steakhouse in literal shambles and the cast more divided than ever.

Giudice admitted on “Couple Things” that the main reason for the RHONJ pause was “because of how toxic” her relationship with Melissa and Joe was at the time. Fans will recall the two women refused to film together, but were at times in group settings where they ignored each other.

There’s no question it was awkward. The feud forced cast members to draw clear boundaries and take sides. Catania and Jenn Fessler were the only ones who refused to be caught in the middle.

Everyone else was either Team Gorga or Team Giudice, with no one hiding their true feelings and new feuds emerging that were just as toxic.

Giudice hopes all of that is in the past as she gears up for the new season of RHONJ and focuses on rebuilding her relationship with the Gorgas.
