Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is making her return to “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and fans are already anticipating Steffy Forrester’s reunion with Hope Logan. Last time the two were together, things were quite peaceful, all thanks to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
But with the “Bridge” reunion, and Liam not really dying, things may take a different turn. Will Steffy and Hope go back to being rivals?
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Star Annika Noelle Hints Steffy & Hope’s Future
CBSSpeaking with Soaps.com, Annika Noelle shared her thoughts about Steffy and Hope’s new dynamic. The actress admitted that while a rivalry between the two ladies is always there, she prefers that they’re at peace.
“I personally like it when we don’t pit women against each other,” Noelle told the outlet. “There’s a moment, there’s a time and a place for that. But I genuinely enjoy Hope and Steffy’s relationship when they’re getting along.”
Now seems like the perfect time for Hope and Steffy to find common ground. With Luna still alive, joining forces might be the smartest move they can make.
“I think it’s refreshing,” Noelle added. “And it also could open them up for more interesting story and [leave] them potentially joining forces.”
Still a Bumpy Road Ahead
Hope and Steffy may have found peace, but that doesn’t mean it’ll last. With Brooke and Ridge’s reunion, it’s sure to stir drama between the Forresters and Logans. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is already fuming about it. Will Steffy feel the same way?
In the same interview, Noelle admitted that the road ahead won’t be bump-free for Hope and Steffy. It isn’t surprising at all, given their history.
“There’s always going to be the underlying rivalry,” the actress noted. “They’re always going to be compared to each other. But it opens up more potential twists and turns if they aren’t always at each other’s throats. That could open some new doors.”
Still, “The Bold and the Beautiful” star is hopeful that the peace between Steffy and Hope will last longer.
“We don’t need the catfight trope all the time,” she added. “I mean, listen, do I want a food fight at some point on the show as well? Absolutely. But I do enjoy it when maybe the women are on the same team for once and holding the men accountable!”
Are Steffy and Hope better off as rivals or allies? Sound off below.
