Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Are Couples Goals
On March 23, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos welcomed “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel and Anika Noni Rose, who voiced the character of Tiana in Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” The couple began the episode by talking about their weekend and sharing the news of the day, as well as other lighthearted moments, before speaking to the stars about their latest projects.
During the opening segment, per a story by Decider, Ripa and Consuelos spoke of “National Puppy Day.” The unofficial holiday is celebrated on March 23, and dog owners dedicate the day to their beloved furry friends on social media.
“It’s observed each year on March 23,” Ripa said at the segment’s start. “I think we can all agree we never realize that it’s happening until we see our friends post pictures of their puppies on social media, like, three days later.”
As she was speaking, Consuelos honed in on Ripa’s face. He then interrupted her, stating, “You have a little hair stuck to your lipstick. There we go. I’m so sorry.” He then pulled off the offending piece of hair in a sweet moment between the couple.
In response, Ripa joked, “I wanted it there. It’s all the rage. People are putting their hair in their lipstick.”
