“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, September 19, reveal Lauren Fenmore pulls out all the stops to impress bride-to-be Christine Blair.
Billy Abbott suffers a major setback. Meanwhile, Cane Ashby hosts a meeting of the minds.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Christine Tries On Wedding Dresses
On Friday, Lauren gets busy helping the soon-to-be-bride, Christine, with her wedding preparations. She has a whole studio set up at Marchetti and three different dresses for her friend.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Christine enjoys her photoshoot, but notices something’s off with Lauren.
Lauren admits she’s worried that Michael Baldwin is hiding something from her.
“I think it’s Victor trying to lure him back,” she adds.
Christine finds it hard to believe that Michael will crawl back to Victor. “Do you really think he’d go back on his promise to you without consulting you first?” she asks.
But Lauren fears Victor’s pull on Michael is stronger than her threats. She adds that if The Mustache is indeed pulling him back, there will be hell to pay.
Cane Sets Up a Meeting Sans Billy
CBSAlso on Friday, Cane instructs Amanda to get Michael and Phyllis on the train for a very important meeting.
“We’re about to launch an attack on every major company in Genoa City,” he tells Amanda.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Phyllis arrives first and asks Cane if Billy is coming. The business mogul reveals he cut him loose because he has too much baggage.
He also asks if she has a problem with Michael being part of the plan. Phyllis insists she’s a professional and has no issues working with the lawyer.
Then, Michael shows up and assures Cane that he and Phyllis have resolved their issues. Cane proceeds to warn the two that what they’re about to do will not be easy. “But the payoff will be massive,” he adds.
Cane warns his allies of possible legal issues, but insists no one will be held accountable if everything goes as planned.
Later, Billy barges in and is furious that he’s been shut out. He’s also upset that Phyllis gets to stay on board.
“You push me to the outside but you have Phyllis still involved?” Billy fumes. “You don’t know what the hell you’re doin’ Cane.”
