Tonight is the Season 50 finale of “Survivor,” and we already have some “Survivor” spoilers on what to expect. Read below for a rundown on what we know so far for the “Survivor 50” finale.
WARNING: If you do NOT want to know anything about the “Survivor” Season 50 finale, STOP READING NOW.
The Schedule
Since this is Survivor Finale night, we have a supersized episode of “Survivor” tonight.
The night kicks off at 8/7c on CBS, like normal. It’s going to be a jam-packed night of challenges, Tribal Councils, and possible fire-building challenges before winding down to the Final 3 castaways and that final Tribal Council vote.
To make up for this jam-packed night, CBS is giving us three full hours of Survivor tonight. Jeff Probst will announce the winner of “Survivor” 2026 during that third hour before winding down with the live reunion special.
Live Finale Returns
For the first time since “Survivor: Edge of Extinction,” we will have a live finale take place in Los Angeles. Jeff will be present, as will the castaways from Season 50. In addition, there will be many familiar faces in the audience.
Probst has said this will be more of a three-hour live finale and not so much a reunion special being shown after the winner is crowned. It looks like we might pepper in those “reunion-type” moments throughout the night and not just at the end.
Jeff also told TV Insider that he is excited about the return of the live finale and live audience. He said, “There’s nothing like being in that room with a thousand people, all watching in real time, cheering for their favorite players.”
All Former Winners Invited to Live Finale
While family and friends of the “Survivor 50” castaways will be in attendance, it looks like the audience will consist of former “Survivor” champions.
A new “Sole Survivor” will be crowned tonight, but the audience will be filled with winners of previous seasons. CBS confirmed that all of the previous winners have been invited, but will all of them be in attendance? We will see when tonight’s finale airs.
One Final Fan Vote to Reveal
“Survivor 50” has had the theme of “In The Hands of the Fans.” The fans were allowed to vote, and these major twists and turns that have come up this season were all thanks to the fans.
There will be more fan vote results during tonight’s finale, but the final fan vote arrives during the live finale in Los Angeles.
The other fan votes revealed tonight will be what the Final 4 challenge will be. Then, fans also voted on whether or not there would be a fire-making challenge to get to the Final 3, so that will also be revealed during the episode.
Finally, Jeff announced the “Sia Fan Favorite Prize.” This gave fans the chance to vote for their favorite player this season. The winner of this vote, which will be announced live during tonight’s finale, will win $100,000 thanks to Sia.
Of course, the big results everyone is waiting for are from the Final Tribal Council. The winner of “Survivor 50” will be crowned tonight, but we made our predictions earlier on who we think it will be!
The “Survivor 50” finale airs tonight at 8/7c on CBS with streaming available on Paramount+ the next day.
