“Survivor 50” has a theme: “In The Hands of the Fans.” They have spent the entire season putting major decisions in viewers’ hands, and now fans are getting one final chance to shape the outcome before finale night. During tonight’s episode, host Jeff Probst announced the return of the franchise’s beloved fan-favorite award, now officially rebranded as the “Sia Fan Favorite Prize.”
The honor comes with a massive $100,000 bonus and revives one of the most talked-about traditions in modern “Survivor” history. This is all thanks to longtime superfan Sia. With icons like Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, and Rick Devens still dominating fan conversations, the vote could become just as competitive as the game itself.
What Is the Sia Fan Favorite Prize?
At the end of tonight’s episode, Jeff Probst revealed some big news. “Survivor” superfan Sia, who has given away over $1 million of her own money to players on the show, is doing it again. However, it’s coming with a twist for “Survivor 50.”
Sia will be giving out $100,000 to one of the players from this season, but she is trusting that decision with the fans. The winner of the “Sia Fan Favorite Prize” will be awarded during the live reunion show on finale night.
This is basically a revival of the fan favorite prize that used to be awarded to a cast member during the reunion show during Seasons 12 through 26. Sia kind of took things over on her own, but now she’s allowing fans of the show to vote and make the decision for her.

Voting is currently open. It will remain open until Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (the day of the finale), at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT.
The winner of this fan favorite prize will be announced during the live three-hour finale and reunion special next week. This will air between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
Has Sia Ever Been on ‘Survivor’?
While Sia has never competed on the show, she has appeared on it. During the finale of “Survivor: Kaôh Rōng,” which Season 50 contestant Aubry Bracco was present for.
It turns out Sia was a huge fan of the show and of Tai Trang from that season. During that live finale, she announced she would be giving Tai Trang, one of that season’s castaways,
(which Season 50 contestant Aubry Bracco was present for), the pop star interrupted the reunion to storm the stage. It turned out she wasn’t only a massive Survivor fan; she also had an immense soft spot for Tai Trang, particularly his season-long love of animals. She announced right then, and there she was giving him $50,000, as well as promising a $50,000 donation to the animal shelter of his choice.
