9:34 p.m. – Aubry decides to bring Joe to Final 3 and wants Rizo and Jonathan to battle in fire. She thinks Rizo has the most similar game to hers, and wants him gone.
Jonathan’s Survivor Legacy
Of all the players who returned for “Survivor 50,” Jonathan had to be the biggest threat. I mean, look at him, he is a beast.
Jonathan first competed on “Survivor 42,” and quickly became one of the most memorable physical competitors of the New Era. He dominated challenges and was an asset around camp, which helped him reach the Final 4. However, he fell short in reaching the Final Tribal Council that season.
After CBS announced the cast for “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,” Jonathan definitely stood out as one of the season’s biggest targets. Viewers and previous castaways knew he was a challenge beast.
Even though he came into the game with a huge target on his back, he still managed to survive deep into the game. Part of that was by improving the strategic side of his gameplay.
Throughout the season, he was able to form strong bonds with players like Joe Hunter and even tried to align with the old school players, even though he is a New Era player. He was part of the “Honor & Integrity” alliance, which controlled several of the key votes in the game.
Jonathan also remained one of the season’s top challenge performers. He won the biggest Immunity Challenge, which allowed him to vote at both Tribal Councils when Jeff announced the would be splitting, and two people would be voted off.
Johnathan’s Key Moments on ‘Survivor 50’
As the finale for “Survivor 50” approached, Jonathan’s path to the end became clearer. Many spoilers pointed to him making it all the way to the Final 3 with Aubry Bracco and Joe Hunter.
Our spoilers suggested that Jonathan and Joe were expected to dominate the final immunity challenges due to their physical skill sets. This would be the reason Jonathan would make the Final 3, if he did.
Heading into tonight, Jonathan was viewed as one of the players left in the game who could win it all. He had a real chance of taking home the Sole Survivor title and the $2 million prize if he could make that final Tribal Council.
However, since Jonathan and Joe worked together in the same alliance, that could hurt both of them. They could split votes from the jury, opening the door for the other Final 3 member to sneak in for the win.
What do you think of the results on “Survivor 50” tonight?
