The highly-anticipated live finale of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” is just hours away from hitting CBS screens nationwide tonight, Wednesday, May 20, at 8:00pm ET.
During the three-hour event, the milestone season’s Final Five castaways – Aubry Bracco, Jonathan Young, Tiffany Nicole Ervin, Joe Hunter and Rizo Velovic – will battle it out in hopes of claiming the coveted title of “Sole Survivor” and the season’s $2 million grand prize.
Before they can do that, however, they’ll have to survive two more Individual Immunity challenges, as well as two more dramatic Tribal Council ceremonies to determine the Final Three of the season, who will subsequently plead their cases to the Jury – which currently consists of Dee Valladares, Chrissy Hofbeck, Benjamin “Coach” Wade, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Christian Hubicki, Emily Flippen, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens and Cirie Fields – at Final Tribal Council.
But which three remaining players are predicted to actually outwit, outplay and outlast their ways into the season’s final voting ceremony?
Here’s everything you need to know, from spoilers to speculation, about which castaways will secure a seat in the Final Three, and which two others will have their torches snuffed and become the final members of the Jury during tonight’s epic “Survivor 50” grand finale.
SPOILER ALERT!!! This article will contain potential spoilers for the finale of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans.” Continue reading at your own discretion.
Which ‘Survivor 50’ Castaways Will Secure a Seat at Final Tribal Council?
According to Kalshi online betting markets, which have – for the most part – been an accurate predictor of eliminations all season long, predict that the Final Three of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” will be….
- Aubry Bracco (“Kaoh Rong”; “Game Changers”; “Edge of Extinction”)
- Jonathan Young (“Survivor 42”)
- Joe Hunter (“Survivor 48”)
That means that, over the course of tonight’s three-hour finale episode, both “Survivor 46” alum Tiffany Nicole Ervin and “Survivor 49” star Rizo “RizGod” Velovic will have their torches snuffed prior to Final Tribal Council, becoming the 10th and 11th members of the Jury.
Which Castaway Will Finish ‘Survivor 50’ In 5th Place?
CBSWhile there’s no definitive spoilers about the order in which Tiffany and Rizo will be eliminated during tonight’s finale, we’re predicting that Ervin will be the first to have her torch snuffed this evening.
The Final Five Individual Immunity challenge – which will reportedly end “in a showdown and features one of the closest finishes the show has ever seen”– will likely be won by either Jonathan Young or Joe Hunter, who’ve dominated the physical aspects of “Survivor” on both their original seasons and Season 50.
At Tribal Council, we predict that RizGod will finally play his Hidden Immunity Idol, given that it loses its power after the Final Five, securing his spot in the Final Four alongside the spoiled Top Three.
Tiffany’s 5th place elimination similarly makes sense given her barely-there edit this season, having received zero confessionals in multiple episodes so far, a surefire way to tell that she’s got no chance of taking home the “Sole Survivor” title tonight.
Which Castaway Will Finish ‘Survivor 50’ in 4th Place?
CBSSpoilers predict that RizGod will be eliminated next, finishing the competition in 4th place for the second season in a row.
Velovic, who has never won an Individual Immunity challenge in his “Survivor” career, will likely fail to win the Immunity Necklace during the Final Four challenge – rumored to be “Simmotion,” as determined by pre-season “In the Hands of the Fans” voting polls.
As such, we predict that Aubry will ally with Jonathan and Joe to eliminate Rizo ahead of the finale, knowing that sitting next to the two “Honor & Integrity” alliance members will work in her favor when it comes to Final Tribal Council, effectively splitting their respective Jury votes down the middle.
Regardless, Velovic’s back-to-back “Survivor” runs have been nothing short of historic, with the 26-year-old castaway making it all the way to the finale twice and attending as many as 18 Tribal Council ceremonies with an Immunity Idol in his pocket.
He joins an elite group of former players, currently only consisting of Russell Hantz and Amanda Kimmel, who have managed to outwit, outplay and outlast their way to the finale on back-to-back seasons, firmly establishing himself as a “New Era” legend.
Rizo will most likely be voted out of the competition in standard fashion, with pre-season voting polls revealing that fans didn’t want to see another Final Four fire-making showdown – The dreaded do-or-die challenge that brought an end to Velovic’s run on Season 49 last December – during the milestone season.
Which Castaway Will Finish ‘Survivor 50’ in 3rd Place?
CBSGiven our Final Tribal Council predictions, we predict that Joe Hunter will receive zero Jury votes if he sits next to Jonathan and Aubry in the Final Three.
The Jury members who might’ve voted for Joe if the trio had been composed differently, including his former “Honor & Integrity” alliance members Chrissy Hofbeck, Coach Wade and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, will likely vote for Jonathan to win the “Sole Survivor” title instead, leaving Hunter with his second third-place finish just one year after losing the Season 48 title to Kyle Fraser, with fellow finalist Eva Erickson finishing the installment as its first runner-up.
That being said, Joe could still make “Survivor” history during tonight’s finale, with the final two Individual Immunity challenges offering him the chance to match the show’s all-time record, currently held by “Boston” Rob Mariano, who won a total of nine Individual Immunity challenges across his five appearances on the series.
Which Castaway Will Finish ‘Survivor 50’ in 2nd Place?
CBSWe predict that “Survivor 42” challenge beast Jonathan Young will follow in second place, earning at least three of the 11 total Final Tribal Council votes from his “Honor & Integrity” allies.
While falling just shy of the “Sole Survivor” title and a $2 million payday, Young will have outlasted his previous 4th place finish, which, similarly to Rizo, came about as the result of the dreaded Final Four fire-making challenge.
Which Castaway Will Win ‘Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans’?
CBSAccording to a Kalshi odds betting market predicting the outcome of the upcoming grand finale, Aubry Bracco will become the “Sole Survivor” of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” tonight.
The castaway, who previously appeared on “Survivor: Kaoh Rong,” “Survivor: Game Changers” and “Survivor: Edge of Extinction,” has technically made it to the finale in each of her four respective runs on the series, though her best performance to date landed her a second-place finish on Season 32 in 2016.
Her victory this time around has been speculated since before the season even began, and continues even in the hours leading up to the finale, with 97 percent of Kalshi users betting that Bracco will win $2 million by the end of the day. Hunter and Young follow way behind with just two percent each.
Be sure to tune in to CBS tonight, Wednesday, May 20 at 8:00pm ET to make sure you don’t miss a single second of the epic “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” three-hour live finale.
