After 12 weeks of intense competition on “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,” complete with never-before-seen twists like the first-ever “Blood Moon” triple elimination and game-changing cameos from celebrities like Billie Eilish, Zac Brown, MrBeast and Jimmy Fallon, fans are just days away from finally discovering which of the Final Five castaways will walk away with the coveted title of “Sole Survivor” and the $2 million grand prize that comes with it.
In order to secure their place in the “Survivor” Hall of Fame, however, the remaining castaways – Aubry Bracco, Jonathan Young, Tiffany Nicole Ervin, Joe Hunter and Rizo Velovic – will have to survive two more Individual Immunity challenges and Tribal Council ceremonies during the epic three-hour finale episode on Wednesday, May 20. If they manage to secure a seat in the Final Three, they’ll also have to convince the members of the Season 50 jury that they are the castaway most deserving of the prize at Final Tribal Council.
With five players left in the competition, there are a total of 10 different Final Tribal Council possibilities that occur depending on how Wednesday night’s finale plays out. Here’s a closer look at each potential showdown, and who the Jury would likely select as the “Sole Survivor” in each instance.
If Aubry, Joe & Jonathan Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSAccording to pre-season spoilers and leaks, this Final Three is the most likely to actually play out during Wednesday night’s finale episode. If this Final Tribal Council showdown does come to be, our guess would be that Tiffany is voted out in fifth place, with Rizo securing his place in the Final Four by finally using his not-so-Hidden Immunity Idol.
Given the predicted results of pre-season fan voting, it seems unlikely that “Survivor 50” will feature a Final Four Fire-Making Challenge to determine the Final Three. Instead, Rizo will likely be voted out in fourth place for the second season in a row, with Aubry partnering with Joe and Jonathan in hopes of splitting the Final Tribal Council votes from the duo’s “Honor & Integrity” alliance member – Chrissy Hofbeck, Benjamin “Coach” Wade and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick – on the Jury.
In this Final Tribal Council instance, we predict that Aubry will earn eight votes from the collected jury members, including Dee Valladares, Christian Hubicki, Emily Flippen, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens and Cirie Fields. Bracco would similarly earn votes from both Rizo and Tiffany, who would’ve joined the jury earlier in the finale.
Jonathan, by comparison, would likely earn the remaining three votes from Chrissy, Coach and Stephenie, with Joe finishing the competition as a zero-vote finalist.
In this instance, Aubry Bracco becomes the “Sole Survivor” of Season 50 in a landslide.
If Rizo, Joe & Aubry Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSIf RizGod somehow replaces Jonathan in the Final Three, the outcome remains the same, though with the Final Tribal Council votes distributed a little differently.
Aubry likely still earns votes from Christian, Emily, Rick and Tiffany. Despite the fact that Ozzy and Cirie were allied with Rizo all season long, it seems likely that they’ll also select Bracco as the season’s eventual winner, particularly given the fact that Rizo was instrumental in Ozzy’s Episode 11 blindside and the fact that Ozzy, Cirie and Aubry have been friends since they all competed on “Survivor: Game Changers” together in 2017.
Dee could go either way between Rizo and Aubry. While she and Aubry weren’t seen as particularly close throughout the season, Valladares did speak at length about her friendship with Velovic. Either way, even if RizGod earns Dee’s vote, it would be the only one he receives in this instance.
Joe, by comparison, would likely earn the “Honor & Integrity” votes that Jonathan earned in the instance above, garnering votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and Young himself, who would’ve joined the jury earlier in the finale in this example.
Once again, Bracco would become the “Sole Survivor” of Season 50 in this instance, earning at least seven – if not eight – of the 11 total jury votes at Final Tribal Council.
If Joe, Aubry & Tiffany Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSIf we replace Rizo from the above instance with Tiffany, the result likely stays exactly the same.
Tiffany receives Dee’s vote, while Aubry retains the votes she would’ve earned from Christian, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, and Cirie. Bracco would also likely receive Rizo’s FTC vote. Joe would, once again, earn only the three votes from his “Honor & Integrity” alliance members, Chrissy, Coach and Stephenie.
Aubry once again wins this Final Tribal Council vote in a landslide, earning six votes to Joe’s three and Tiffany’s sole vote from Dee.
If Jonathan, Aubry & Rizo Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSOnce again, if Aubry finds herself in the Final Three beside Rizo and Jonathan, the result is the same.
Rizo potentially scores a single vote from Dee, while Jonathan sweeps up his expected “Honor & Integrity” votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and Joe. The remaining six jury votes (Christian, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, Cirie & Tiffany) all go to Aubry in this instance, establishing her, once again, as the “Sole Survivor” of Season 50.
If Tiffany, Jonathan & Aubry Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSSurprise, surprise, Aubry still wins Season 50 when she sits at Final Tribal Council with Jonathan and Tiffany.
Tiffany once again earns Dee’s vote, while Jonathan garners votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and Joe. Aubry received the remaining six votes from Christian, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, Cirie and Rizo, resulting in Bracco once again being named the “Sole Survivor” of the milestone season.
If Aubry, Rizo & Tiffany Sit at Final Tribal, Aubry Wins
CBSWhat happens if both remaining members of the “Honor & Integrity” alliance – Joe and Jonathan – are eliminated ahead of Final Tribal Council? Aubry still wins!
This time, however, Aubry earns nearly every single jury vote, including those from Chrissy, Christian, Stephenie, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, Cirie, Joe and Jonathan. We predict that Dee would likely cast her final vote for Tiffany in this instance, though there’s a possibility that she could be swayed towards Rizo or Aubry depending on their final speeches.
The only jury member who almost definitely won’t be voting for Aubry in this instance would be Coach, who’d more likely cast his FTC vote for RizGod.
Either way, even if Tiff and Rizo are able to earn one vote each, Aubry still wins the season with nine votes.
To make a long story short, any instance where Aubry Bracco sits at the Final Tribal Council of “Survivor 50,” she wins the competition, taking home the title of “Sole Survivor” and a check for a whopping $2 million.
But what if the fourth-time castaway finds herself finishing the competition in fifth or fourth place? Then who wins? Keep reading to find out!
If Rizo, Joe & Jonathan Sit at Final Tribal, Rizo Wins
CBSIf RizGod somehow manages to take out Aubry and Tiffany before earning a spot in the Final Tribal Council, the Season 49 finalist becomes the first returning New Era player to earn the title of “Sole Survivor” on an all-star installment of the longrunning competition series.
While Jonathan would likely sweep all three “Honor & Integrity” votes (Chrissy, Coach & Stephenie) in this instance, RizGod likely earns the remaining eight jury votes from Dee, Christian, Stephenie, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, Cirie, Tiffany and Aubry.
Joe, once again, finishes the season as a zero-vote finalist in this instance.
If Joe, Rizo & Tiffany Sit at Final Tribal, Tiffany Wins
CBSThings get dicey when we consider a potential Final Tribal Council with Joe, Rizo and Tiffany as the Final Three of the season.
In this instance, Joe almost definitely earns four votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and Jonathan. Tiffany, by comparison, likely earns four votes as well, from Dee, Emily, Rick and Aubry.
The final three jury votes, from Ozzy, Cirie and Christian, could go to either Rizo or Tiffany.
If Rizo earns all three, we’ll have the second-ever Final Tribal Council tie between Tiff and Joe. Velovic, in this instance, would likely be called in to break the tie, casting his vote for Tiffany, who would then become the “Sole Survivor” of Season 50.
If Jonathan, Rizo & Tiffany Sit at Final Tribal, Tiffany Wins
CBSThe situation remains similar if Jonathan replaces Joe in a Final Tribal Council showdown against Rizo and Tiffany.
Tiff most likely earns votes from Aubry, Dee, Emily and Rick, while Jonathan picks up the votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and Joe. Once again, Rizo has the potential to earn three votes from Christian, Ozzy and Cirie, but even if he does, his tie-breaker vote would once again select Tiffany Nicole Ervin as the winner of “Survivor 50.”
If Tiffany, Joe & Jonathan Sit at Final Tribal, Tiffany Wins
CBSFinally, if Tiffany finds herself in the Final Tribal Council of the season alongside Joe and Jonathan, the “Survivor 46” alum still wins the $2 million grand prize.
As was the case in every other instance where both Hunter and Young make it to FTC, Jonathan earns all of the “Honor & Integrity” votes from Chrissy, Coach and Stephenie. Meanwhile, Ervin sweeps up the remaining eight votes from Dee, Christian, Emily, Ozzy, Rick, Cirie and Rizo.
Joe, once again, finishes the season as a zero-vote finalist in this instance.
Aubry Wins ‘Survivor 50’ in 6 out of 10 Final Tribal Showdowns
GettyOf all 10 possible Final Tribal Council showdowns, Aubry Bracco wins “Survivor 50” in every instance where she secures a spot in the Final Three, regardless of which castaways are sitting next to her.
In the remaining four instances, Tiffany wins every showdown where she is present, so long as Bracco is on the Jury, though she may require Rizo to break a potential 4-4-3 tie in the instances where he also secures a spot in the Final Three.
RizGod, however, wins the season only if he finds himself in a Final Tribal showdown against Joe and Jonathan.
By our predictions, neither Jonathan nor Joe have any chance of being named the next “Sole Survivor,” regardless of which castaways they face off against in Final Tribal Council, only earning jury votes from Chrissy, Coach, Stephenie and each other in all ten possible finale outcomes.
