After her historic victory on “Survivor: Australia vs. the World” on Sunday, September 7, Parvati Shallow announced that she has officially retired from competing on the Emmy-winning reality competition series. Considering that Shallow’s “Survivor” journey has spanned five seperate seasons of the show, and an impressive 19 years, it’s unsurprising that the reality star would want to end her career on a high note, after pocketing $250,000 AUD (about $165,000 USD), claiming the World Title of “The Greatest ‘Survivor’ Player of All Time,” and making history as the third player to win the series twice of the course of its 25-year history.
But now that she’s polished off her illustrious “Survivor” career, what’s next for Parvati Shallow?
Parvati’s Developing Her Own Brand New Reality Show!
In 2006, when she was just 24 years old, Parvati Shallow made her CBS reality TV debut on the cast of “Survivor: Cook Islands.” Following an impressive 6th place finish, Shallow returned the show two years later, securing the title of “Sole Survivor” – alongside the million dollar grand prize – on the cast of “Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites.” Since then Shallow has returned to compete on “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains,” “Survivor: Winners at War” and, most recently, “Survivor: Australia vs. the World.”
Shallow’s reality TV career has not been exclusive to “Survivor,” however, with the contestant, known as the “Black Widow” by fans, also appearing on competition series like “The Traitors” and “Deal or No Deal Island” in recent years.

The news came during one of Parvati’s “AU vs. the World” exit interview on “Survivor” alum Rob Cesternino’s “Rob Has A Podcast.”
When asked what was next for her after her legendary victory, Shallow told RHAP, “I am developing a show with Endemol [Shine], who produced ‘Deal or No Deal Island.’ We just got it sold to a network over here in the U.S.. So look out for the ultimate social game coming soon.”
Shallow initially revealed that she was developing and pitching the new series back in May 2025, however, the concept, network and cast surrounding the untitled project have yet to be revealed.
Shallow is Also Working on a New Book Project
Alongside announcing her very own reality series, Shallow similarly revealed that she’s working on a brand new book project just months after the release of her debut memoir “Nice Girls Don’t Win: How I Burned It All Down to Claim My Power.”

The book, which hit shelves nationwide on July 8, explored Parvati’s turbulent, polarizing and ultimately victorious “Survivor” journey, her childhood spent in a “cult-like” commune, and how she healed after her brother’s tragic passing.
Since its release, “Nice Girls Don’t Win” has been described as “a bible for badass women” by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar.
“‘Survivor’ legend and gay icon, Parvati Shallow has won my heart all over again,” added “Saturday Night Live” comedian Bowen Yang in response to the recently published memoir.
Whether or not Parvati’s new book will also be a memoir remains to be seen.
