We are back with another episode of “Survivor” season 49 tonight, and it looks like a medical emergency is going to leave these castaways shaken. The heat and hunger may be getting to some of them, but that doesn’t mean Jeff Probst will be backing down on “Survivor” 2025. Time for another week of challenges and backstabbing, but who gets voted off “Survivor” 49 tonight? Find out during our “Survivor” season 49 live recap below!
Medical Emergency Tonight on ‘Survivor’
Tonight’s episode of “Survivor” 2025 is titled “Lovable Losers.” With only one tribe making their way to Tribal Council so far this season, the other castaways are starting to get some paranoia about not knowing where they truly stand.
In the sneak peek from CBS, we see Sage and Shannon talking about Savannah and how she may be a bigger threat than they think. However, Shannon is working with Savannah, so this could come back to burn Sage. Find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 tonight during our “Survivor” live recap below.

The Lovable Losers
Kele is feeling down. Day 6 of “Survivor” season 49, and they haven’t won anything. They are down to their core four, but feeling defeated. They know if they lose, they have to start eating each other. Kyle also has an idol, so the others are worried about that. They just want to catch a break sometime.
On the Hina Tribe, they haven’t been to Tribal Council, and it’s all happy-happy. They decide to go searching for the Beware Advantage as a tribe, so they get it before a merge happens.
While they are searching, MC finds the Beware Advantage, but keeps it a secret. She does privately show Steven, to show she truly wants to work with him. They are excited and now must wait to lose before they can search for it.
Over on the Uli Tribe, the love is happening there, too. These tribes haven’t lost, so they haven’t had to stab anyone in the back. It’ll happen, folks! Sage is having a lot of issues with this and overthinking things, and where things stand with her and everyone else. She talks to Shannon about Savannah, but then Shannon goes to Savannah and tells her everything.
Snake Bite on ‘Survivor’ 49
Jake was sitting on the beach, just thinking about his wife and how she could be giving birth to their first child. Meanwhile, he all of a sudden has a snake latch onto his foot.
He doesn’t know if it bit him or not. Jake is very calm about it all, but then Alex checks their books, and this was a highly venomous snake! Jake gets taken away by medical, as his tribe sits back, worried about him.
At base camp, the medics start working on him. They believe it was a dry bite, so the snake didn’t get any venom in him. They are taking all precautions, but it looks like he evaded any real danger. It may be more adrenaline for him, and giving him fluids to see if he can return to the game.
Because of everything, the doctor said Jake can’t return to the game. He needs nutrients, food, rest, and cool temperatures. He can’t get that by going back on the island, so Jake will be heading home on “Survivor” 2025. Jeff asked if he had anything to say, and he wanted Jeff to tell them to make it to final three and win it.
Immunity Challenge
The tribes arrive at the challenge, and everyone is shocked to see Jake gone from the game. Emotions are high for everyone. Sophi said they are dedicating this challenge to Jake and hoping they can pull out a win for him.
For this challenge, they will work their way through obstacles. At the end, they will come to a turtle puzzle. The first two tribes will win immunity, with the losing tribe going to Tribal Council. They are also playing for a reward, with the first tribe to finish winning a tarp and two hammocks. The second tribe to finish will win a tarp.
The tribes are all pretty even getting to the puzzle. Kele has struggled with puzzles, so will they fail again this time? Yes, it will, as it comes down to a battle between Hina and Uli. Hina gets the puzzle done first, and they win immunity tonight on “Survivor” season 49. Uli gets it done shortly afterwards, so they win immunity also. That means Kele has lost again, and they are heading to Tribal Council again.
There aren’t many celebrations tonight, as they all feel terrible for Kele. They can’t catch a break, but they will be heading to Tribal Council tonight to vote someone off, and only two will remain on the Kele Tribe.
Update: They gave an update on Jake, stating he is healthy and fine. Silver lining: he made it home for the birth of his son!
A Miserable Journey on ‘Survivor’ Season 49
The Kele Tribe heads back to camp, and they know it’s been a miserable journey for them. Without Jake, this changes things up. With only three members, they know they have to vote off one of their alliance members.
Alex has an idol, so you would think he would play it tonight. Sophi and Jeremiah are going to try and convince him not to use it, but then vote him out. He would be stupid not to use it, as his #1 is gone and no clue with only three left.
Meanwhile, over on Uli, they know it’s them versus Hina. They decide to go hunting for the idol as a tribe, just so they have it if tribes merge. They are struggling, but then Rizo finds it and will wait to lose to find it.
Back at Kele, both Jeremiah and Sophi talk with Alex and try to convince him not to use the idol. Sophi is spying and thinks she might get voted out, so she tries to convince Alex to vote for Jeremiah. They are all spiraling right now!
Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’ 2025
The talk is all about Alex and his idol. Will he or won’t he play it? He is talking about playing it, and which one to take with him? However, there is talk of him not playing it. It’s all up in the air, as Jeff tells them it’s time to vote!
Results: Alex does play his idol, so all votes cast against him will not count tonight. The votes were tallied, and it’s Jeremiah eliminated tonight!
