After a tribe swap last week on “Survivor” season 49, we are now down to only two tribes: Kele (Blue) and Hina (Yellow). It was a rough go for the original Kele Tribebut they got separated and are shining with their new tribe members on “Survivor” 2025.
It looks like one castaway’s scheming ways might get the best of them tonight on “Survivor,” before Jeff Probst puts them to the test during another Immunity Challenge on “Survivor” 2025. Time for another week of challenges and backstabbing, but who gets voted off “Survivor” 49 tonight? Find out during our “Survivor” season 49 live recap below!
Scheming & Missteps on ‘Survivor’
Tonight’s episode of “Survivor” 2025 is titled “I’m a Wolf, Baby.” It looks like one castaway is trying to scheme their way through things. However, when their fellow tribe members determine they are telling the same story to everyone, it may come back to bite them.
In the sneak peek from CBS, we see Shannon might be the tribe member who is scheming too much and getting caught up in her lies. She is trying to build those bonds, but instead, she is telling the same story to everyone, and it might burn her in the end. Find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 tonight during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Back to Work
The Hina Tribe is back at camp after Tribal Council. Jason says he wants to work with them and hopes they win so they don’t have to go back. Savannah seems to think she is in a good place and is controlling things.
Over on Kele Tribe, Shannon is trying to plan things to keep herself safe. She wants to go two Uli, two Hina, and two Kele to form a strong six. She wakes up early and tells this plan to Steven, who agrees. Then it’s all about Shannon and basically telling everyone this plan, so she is scheming too much and with everyone. The others catch on to Shannon playing too hard, and now she seems to be on people’s radar.
Erasing Tribal Lines on ‘Survivor’
Jason wakes up on the Hina Tribe. He knows he is the only old Yellow tribe member, so he is going to work at erasing those tribal lines and try to make some alliances with these people. While Jawan talks about wanting to work with Jason, will he?
Savannah then comes back looking for her water bottle. It seems Jawan had it, which Jawan keeps accidentally taking her bag and water bottle. It seems like a joke, and he means no harm, but Savannah hates this and said this puts him at the bottom of “Survivor” season 49.
Over on Hina Tribe, it looks like it’ll be a battle between Shannon and Sage, the only two old Uli members on the new Hina Tribe. Shannon is working big time to gain alliances, but Sage is sitting back and trying to play it safe. However, the other tribe members know she is playing everyone. Alex and Steven approach Sage about Shannon, so Sage is beyond excited to put it all out in the open…too funny!
A Journey on ‘Survivor’ Season 49
A boat arrives at each camp, and one person must get on each boat. MC gets on it for Kele. Jason wants to go on the journey, hoping to get an advantage. However, Savannah and Nate also volunteer to go. Jawan knows that Jason going would put their tribe in disarray, so he has them draw rocks, but he sets it up so Nate draws the correct rock, and he goes on the journey.
At the island, Nate and MC are tasked with moving a bunch of sandbags from one side of the beach to another side of the beach in a certain amount of time. If they get it, they both get to keep their vote. If not, then they go back to camp without a vote. MC already has the Beware Advantage to find, so she doesn’t need to lose her vote again.
While moving the bags, they notice a message. They can go into the woods and search for an advantage. The one who finds it will get the advantage, while the other has to finish the bags on their own or lose their vote. Nate talks her into doing all of the bags but one and then go searching. They do this, but then Nate doesn’t want to find it. He wants them to end it, and they do, and both go back with a vote.
Sage Shooting Her Shot
MC comes back to the tribe and tells them about the journey. She tells them what happened. Then Shannon heads out, so Sage took the moment to try and gain the trust of everyone else. She tells them Shannon is playing them, and she lets them know that Rizo has an advantage on the other tribe.
Then Sage and Shannon talk, and Sage thinks Shannon feels she is stupid. However, she said she is a wolf and may be striking right now.
Back on Hina Tribe, Nate talks about the journey, and they all buy his story that there was no advantage available at it. Then we see Savannah and her irritation with Jawan. She really wants him gone!
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 49
The tribes meet Jeff Probst. For this Immunity Challenge, the tribes will swim out to a cage and then carry it back to land. They will then dig under the cage to get a rebounder out. The other tribe members will start shooting three balls into baskets. The first tribe to get all three balls into the basket will win immunity. They will also win a reward, which is four chickens, one rooster, and three egg-laying hens.
Kele got out to a big lead on this one and started shooting the baskets. However, Hina comes back strong and catches up with them. Hina gets a slight lead, but then Kele comes back strong and Alex gets the final basket, and they win immunity! Hina will be heading to Tribal Council again.
An Actual Reward?
Kele gets back to the tribe and they have their reward, but is it really? Now they have to kill a chicken, but no one wants to do it. Alex and Steven are the only ones willing, but it’s a scary moment. However, they want that protein and are excited after the scary moment of killing it.
Over on Kina, will there be any heads cut off of chickens tonight? The Uli and Sophi seem set on voting Jason out. They are worried about Jason playing his shot in the dark, and then Savannah said they go for Jawan.
Savannah tries to convince Jason she wants to work with him, so she tells him to pitch to everyone that he is the thread that would connect old Hina to new Hina. Savannah seems to truly want Jawan gone, but is she putting up a front and will go after Jason? She talks with Nate, and they talk about voting Jawan out and blowing the game open.
Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’ Season 49
Sophi has been at every Tribal Council this season. Hina is back for the second week in a row. The heat is extremely hot, and these players are gassed. They talk about how the game messes with their mind. Lots of laughs at this Tribal, but it’s a lot of Jawan talking about his own insecurities and self-doubt. In addition, it’s a lot of Jason being on the bottom, being the only old Hina member on the tribe.
RESULTS: The votes have been tallied, and Jeff reveals the results. They did stick together, and Jason was voted off “Survivor” season 49 tonight.
Robert Voets/CBSWhat do you think of the results on “Survivor” season 49 tonight?

Why did you show them killing the chicken on TV. That was horrible
People eat chicken all the time.
