Yes, the merge will be taking place tonight on “Survivor.” The castaways will then face off in their first individual Immunity Challenge on “Survivor” 2025. The Merge on ‘Survivor’

Tonight’s episode of “Survivor” 2025 is titled “Blood Will Be Drawn.” As seen in the sneak peek from CBS, a boat comes to take the tribe members to Jeff, as the merge is coming.

This is going to bring some big emotions and drama. We are going to have all of the castaways at one camp, which means a true battle between the original Uli Tribe and the original Hina Tribe, as we all know, the Kele Tribe lost the first four challenges and four of their tribe members right away.

Find out tonight and find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 tonight during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Pure Bliss

Over on Kele Tribe, they are back from Tribal Council and feeling good after voting out Shannon last week. They all feel strong and can ride the middle line if a merge happens. It’s been original Uli versus original Hina, so this threw a wrench in that. Jawan, Sage, and Steven feel they changed up the game and will be taking out the top dogs on Uli.

Drop Those Buffs

A boat arrives at the camps, and they get a note telling them to drop those buffs. The castaways are all excited, but MC still has the Beware Advantage, so she will have to find her idol or lose her votes. On Kele, they get a note that the other castaways will be joining them at their camp. They are now freaking out and nervous. Jeff does mention that there are still spots open for “Survivor” 50, so some of these castaways will be placed on that island next season!

Nate is surprised to see Shannon gone, as he thought she was a number for him. They all sit down, and Jawan and Sage start talking about how Shannon lost her mind and was paranoid. This seems to work, as Savannah and Nate seem to be fine with voting off Shannon.

Another boat arrives at the camp, and the guys bring them a locked treasure chest. The note states there are keys hidden throughout the island. One of the keys unlocks the chest, which will give that person an advantage at the Immunity Challenge the next day. They all go searching and trying keys, but it’s Sage who finds the correct key, and she gets an advantage at the Immunity Challenge on “Survivor” season 49.

Checking on Alliances

With this shift in Uli, will they stick together now? Now it’s time to see who Alex and Sophi are going to work with since Kele was down to those two. She wants to work with old Uli, and Alex agrees, but he says he is playing both sides.

With all of these tribe swaps, I don’t even know who was on what tribe to begin with. Everything is crossed right now, as the castaways killed a chicken and are enjoying that protein.

Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 49 – Stage 1

Jeff first addresses two Sophis being on the drop. Sophi from Hele will be called Soph, and Sophie from Hina will be Sophie. The tribes are officially merged now and get their new buffs.

For this challenge, they will be working in teams of five. They will be pushing a huge boulder through a series of obstacles, where they will pick up a machete to cut through ropes and get through more obstacles. At the end, two will work on a puzzle.

The first team to finish will win and get the “Survivor” merge feast, while the other gets nothing. The winning team will then go on to compete in a second challenge, which will be for individual immunity. For winning the advantage the day before, Sage doesn’t have to compete and automatically gets the merge feast and a chance to compete in the individual Immunity Challenge. The teams are:

  • Yellow Team – Nate, Steven, Sophie, Rizo, and Soph
  • Blue Team – Jawan, Alex, Kristina, Savannah, and MC

Sophie and Kristina were captains and chose these teams. Blue Team has a slight advantage, as they get to the puzzle first. It’s Jawan and Kristina working on the puzzle for them. Blue Team gets up, and it’s Nate and Sophie working on the puzzle for them. This one comes down to two pieces, as they both struggled to get the final pieces on. However, it’s the Yellow Team that wins and they win the merge feast and a shot at immunity.

Immunity Challenge – Stage 2

We immediately go into the second part of this challenge, as the six castaways will be standing on a beam while holding a pole with a disc on top. They will place a ball on the disc and have to keep the ball on there. They will move down the beam as time goes on, with less space to stand. The person to last the longest with their ball on the disc wins immunity on “Survivor” 2025.

These castaways, besides Sage, are tired, sweaty, and hot from stage 1. Now they have stage 2, so this is a lot on them. Rizo is out first.

We get down to the final spot on the beam, and it’s down to Steven and Sophie. They will stay here until they have a winner. Steven has a lot of movement, and he eventually drops the ball, and Sophie wins the first individual Immunity Challenge of the season.

Feast & Beware

The castaways enjoy their food. It’s odd, as they can’t really talk game because of the makeup of the people. They just want to eat and get back to figure out who to vote out.

Then, at camp, MC has to go searching for her Beware Advantage. She goes out searching and finds the clue. She is then looking for the key to unlock the chest, but Savannah walks up. It’s super awkward, but she says she’ll work with Savannah, but both know they don’t want to work together. MC does get the chest open after Savannah leaves, and she now has a Hidden Immunity Idol and can vote at Tribal.

The winners come back for their feast, so it’s time to talk about who to vote out. Sophie thinks Rizo and Savannah are too close and strong players, but Rizo has an idol and thinks he’ll play it for Savannah. They want to go for Nate, a sure thing instead. However, Sage wants Savannah gone.

Savannah tells Soph that she saw MC get an idol. Soph has the Knowledge is Power advantage, so she knows where both idols are and can take it from one of them. The old Uli wants to vote for Steven, but Jawan doesn’t want to do that. He talks with Rizo, who said he doesn’t feel he needs to use it. This gets Jawan to the others, wanting to vote out Rizo, but then Savannah’s name is brought up, and then Nate’s. It’s all a mess, like normal.

Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’ Season 49

The castaways make their way to Tribal Council, and this is actually the first Tribal Council for some of the castaways. The talk is definitely about all the tribe swaps and changes this season. Because of that, they don’t know where the lines stand. Do they align with original tribe members or new tribe members?

Rizo says he has a Hidden Immunity Idol, which everyone knows about. He said he plans on using it tonight, whether it’s on himself or for someone else. Time to vote!

Voting Results – Jeff tallies the votes, and while Rizo doesn’t play his idol, MC does, and she is safe tonight! The votes are: Nate, Steven, Nate, Steven, Nate, Steven, Nate, Steven, Nate, and Nate. That’s six votes for Nate, and he has been voted off “Survivor” season 49 and becomes the first member of the jury!

Steven is relieved; Rizo and Savannah are shocked. What do you think of the results on “Survivor” tonight?
