While “Survivor” legends like Parvati Shallow and “Boston Rob” Mariano were notably excluded from the cast of the series’ upcoming milestone 50th season, fans may not have to wait much longer to see the duo make their highly-anticipated return to reality TV.
New rumors from The Sun suggest that both Mariano and Shallow, alongside mainstay castaway Cirie Fields, are currently in talks to star in the first-ever “All-Stars” installment of Peacock’s Emmy-winning murder-mystery competition series, “The Traitors.”
The trio make up just a portion of the “Survivor” stars who have joined the Alan Cumming-hosted series in recent years, with the full list including former castaways like Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick (Season 1), Sandra Diaz-Twine (Season 2), Tony Vlachos, Jeremy Collins and Carolyn Wiger (Season 3).
Natalie Anderson (“Survivor: San Juan del Sur”), Rob Cesternino (“Survivor: All-Stars”) and Yam Yam Arocho (“Survivor 44”) similarly joined the list, appearing on the cast of the show’s currently-airing fourth season earlier this year.
‘Traitors: All-Star’ Rumored Cast List Includes Three ‘Survivor’ Superstars
GettyAccording to The Sun, “talks are underway” to bring back the series’ most “buzzed about” players from its first four seasons to star in the first-ever “Traitors: All-Stars” season.
While the concept has not been officially confirmed by Peacock, The Sun reported that the returning-players season will “raise the stakes” off the already intense competition series. The publication added that casting for Season 5 of “The Traitors” is currently underway, suggesting that the “All-Star” installment will air after that, in place of a “normal” sixth season.
“‘Traitors’ production are actively casting for Season 5 and putting the finishing touches on that cast,” a source told The Sun. “But they’re also already assembling an All-Star cast for the following year, Season 6, which will be the first time the show’s ever done that. They feel after 5 seasons, they will have plenty of big names to choose from to make the season the most intense and entertaining one yet.”
The source continued, adding that the show’s producers “want to keep the show fresh and exciting for people who watch year after year. An all-star season heightens the stakes and adds an entirely new dynamic to the formula.”
GettyAmongst the “big names” reportedly already in talks to return to Cumming’s Scottish castle for the installment are former “Survivor” stars Cirie Fields, who famously remains the only Traitor to ever win the US series during its flagship first season, Parvati Shallow, who was recruited as a Traitor during Season 2, and Boston Rob, who continued the trend, appearing as one of the eponymous Traitors on Season 3.
Joining the rumored “All-Star” cast list are former “Traitors” stars like Arie Luyendyk Jr. (“The Bachelor”), Phaedra Parks (“The Real Housewives”), Bob the Drag Queen (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Dylan Efron (“Dancing with the Stars”) and Gabby Windey (“The Bachelorette”).
Rob Rausch (“Love Island”) and Lisa Rinna (“The Real Housewives”) – who starred on the show’s currently-airing fourth season – have also allegedly received invitations to return after captivating fans week after week in the Traitors’ turret.
Who Else Could Appear on ‘The Traitors: All-Stars’?
PeacockThe rumored “Traitors: All-Stars” cast list currently only includes these 10 returning players, significantly short of the 22 to 15-person casts the series typically boasts.
Additional fan favorite returnees could potentially include, Bergie Bergensen (“Love Island”), CT Tamburello (“The Challenge”), Carolyn Wiger (“Survivor”), Christian de la Torre (“The Gratitude Project”), Cody Calafiore (“Big Brother”), Dan Gheesling (“BB”), Danielle Reyes (“BB”), Kate Chastain (“Below Deck”), Peter Weber (“The Bachelor”), Rachel Reilly (“BB”), and Trishelle Cannatella (“The Challenge”), all of whom have made their mark on the series as villainous Traitors, or as notoriously successful Traitor-hunting Faithfuls.
If rumors regarding an “All-Star” version of “The Traitors” are true, it’s likely that the season won’t see the light of day until January 2028, assuming that the series continues its current streaming schedule.
