Taylor Swift is reportedly ready for motherhood following her grand wedding to Travis Kelce last month.
The former “The Voice” mentor is reportedly hoping to start a family with Kansas City Chiefs tight end, but there’s a surprising twist.
According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, Swift wants to enter motherhood alongside her BFF Selena Gomez. The longtime friends are reportedly hoping to have their first children around the same time and plan to become godmothers to each other’s kids.
“Taylor and Selena have agreed they want to have their babies as close time-wise to each other as possible so they can bring them up together,” the source told the outlet. “They’ve essentially made a pact that they will be godmother to each other’s children.”

GettyThe insider added that Swift has a lot of confidence in her strong bond with the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star and knows they will always be there for each other as they navigate motherhood.
“Taylor is very confident in her friendship with Selena and doesn’t worry about having any falling out,” the source told the Daily Mail. “If Selena has kids, Taylor knows for a fact that she would be close to them all forever.”
In 2024, Gomez admitted that she had to “grieve” the reality of not being able to safely carry a pregnancy.

Swift and Gomez have been close friends for nearly two decades now, with their bond often described as a “sisterhood.”
In 2022, Swift opened up about her close friendship with Gomez. “There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don’t say that in a basic way,” the “Opalite” singer told WSJ. “I knew from when I met her I would always have her back. In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don’t know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.”
