A famous, show-stopping annual party is reportedly moving its usual date to avoid clashing with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin is famous for his star-studded Fourth of July party in the Hamptons.
Some of the big names who attended his parties in the past include Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott, Drake, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Camila Cabello, Emily Ratajkowski, Teyana Taylor, Winnie Harlow, Megan Fox, Gayle King, Quavo, and more.
Rubin’s famous bash has also been widely covered by major outlets, including Vogue, the New York Post, the New York Times, and more.
Famous Party Rescheduled Ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding
However, this year, Rubin’s usual July 4 party is reportedly happening earlier so as not to coincide with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
According to Page Six, the former 76ers co-owner is bumping his event to July 1 amid reports of the couple’s nuptials in New York during Independence Day weekend.
The outlet noted that it’s unclear whether Rubin is avoiding overshadowing the former “The Voice” mentor on her big day or is concerned that Swift and Kelce’s “America’s royal wedding” will attract so many A-listers that there won’t be many left to attend his own celebration.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding is expected to be attended by many celebrities, including star-studded bridesmaids.
The US Sun reported that the “Opalite” singer’s bridal party, including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, is hard at work preparing a major wedding surprise for her.
Swift also invited her longtime friend, Zoë Kravitz, despite rampant fallout rumors, according to PEOPLE.
Taylor Swift Enjoys Night Out Ahead of Wedding
Meanwhile, Swift was recently spotted during a night out with her family and friends.
On Monday, the bride-to-be enjoyed dinner in New York with her dad, Scott Swift, BFF Ashley Avignone, Jack Antonoff, and Jerrod Carmichael.
In the photos shared by the Daily Mail, Swift looked elegant in her $325 blue and white pinstripe midi dress from Nordstrom. She matched the look with a $1,195 Christian Louboutin sandals and a yellow Lady Dior purse.
Swift and Kelce are reportedly tying the knot on July 3 in New York, though the exact venue remains undisclosed.
The couple is said to have sent out wedding invitations to guests, but kept details of the location under wraps.
According to Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice,” the move was “intentional” for privacy and security reasons.
“There’s a date — but no venue,” one insider told the outlet. “And that’s completely intentional.”
The source continued, “The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet. Not even the guests.”
The outlet added that Swift and Kelce want “total control” and “total privacy,” noting that the details “won’t be shared until the very last minute.”
“If the location got out early, it would turn into a circus,” the insider said. “It’s very Taylor. Meticulous, controlled — and just a little mysterious.”
