Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s guests are reportedly still in the dark about a crucial wedding detail.
According to a report from Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice,” the save-the-dates have already been sent to guests with the wedding date locked in, but the exact venue remains a mystery.
“There’s a date — but no venue,” one insider told the outlet. “And that’s completely intentional.”
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Take Wedding Privacy to the Next Level
GettyWhile the latest reports suggest that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will take place in New York, a source told “Naughty But Nice” even that remains fluid.
“The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet,” the insider claimed. “Not even the guests.”
As to why the former “The Voice” mentor and NFL champ chose to keep the venue details tightly under wraps, the source explained it’s for a very understandable reason.
“They want total control — and total privacy,” the insider added. “Details won’t be shared until the very last minute.”
The source noted that the couple takes security very seriously and is doing everything possible to prevent leaks.
“If the location got out early, it would turn into a circus,” the insider continued, “It’s very Taylor. Meticulous, controlled — and just a little mysterious.”
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s ‘Royal Wedding’
Meanwhile, The US Sun reported that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding is going to be a no-expense-spared event.
Sources told the outlet that the couple is going all out to make their wedding memorable for everyone.
“It is going to be next level. Think Charles and Di — this is America’s royal wedding,” the insider claimed.
The outlet also revealed that Swift and Kelce’s wedding is being treated like a “high-stakes military operation,” with ironclad non-disclosure agreements in place.
Additionally, “hundreds of guards” are reportedly expected to be deployed in the wedding venue, and a “strict no-fly zone” is likely to be enforced.
As for Swift’s wedding gown, the Daily Mail reported that she’s eyeing a classic white gown inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic first wedding dress from her 1950 wedding to Conrad Hilton.
“Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style,” the source revealed, referring to the singer’s hit song “Elizabeth Taylor.” “So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.”
GettyThe insider added that Swift was captivated by the late actress’ wedding gown because it was “so flattering.”
“Taylor said she liked how it was old-fashioned and came in at the waistline, plus the lace detailing,” the source told the outlet.
The source also suggested that, aside from the gown inspiration, Swift may incorporate jewelry from the late actress’ collection into her wedding look.
“She loves Elizabeth’s jewels, so she may just wear one of her pieces, something on the smaller side for when she walks down the aisle, but she would need to ask Taylor’s estate,” the source claimed.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025. The couple is reportedly tying the knot on July 3, 2026.
