Taylor Swift is walking down the aisle in a gown inspired by a Hollywood legend, according to the Daily Mail.
The “Opalite” singer, 36, is said to have chosen a classic white gown inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic first wedding dress from her 1950 wedding to Conrad Hilton, the Daily Mail reported.
This comes as no surprise, as Swift has made it clear that she is a big fan of the actress. In fact, she even wrote a song called “Elizabeth Taylor” for her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
“Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style,” the source told the outlet. “So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.”

“Taylor said she liked how it was old-fashioned and came in at the waistline, plus the lace detailing,” the source added.
Aside from the wedding gown inspiration, the source also hinted that Swift may borrow a piece from the late actress’s jewelry collection for the big day.
“She loves Elizabeth’s jewels so she may just wear one of her pieces, something on the smaller side for when she walks down the aisle, but she would need to ask Taylor’s estate,” the insider told the Daily Mail.
Taylor and Hilton were married on May 6, 1950. The actress was 18 at the time. The marriage only lasted eight months.
