Travis Kelce gave two young fans a memory that they will truly never forget.
On Saturday, Aug. 22, Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their second preseason game. While Kelce didn’t play in the game, he was with the team and spotted two young girls who were waving to him excitedly from the sidelines.
In a video shared on TikTok by a woman named Ali Kay, the two girls were waving at him, and the tight end acknowledged their efforts. So much so that he walked over to the Chiefs’ bench and took off his playing gloves. He then handed them to a team employee and pointed to the two young girls in the stands. The staffer made their way over to the two girls and handed each of them one of Kelce’s gloves.
The girls couldn’t contain their excitement, running back to the seats with the gloves, which had the phrase “Heights Native” on the inside of one, while “Killa Trav” was written on the other.

In the caption of the post, Kay wrote, “Travis Kelce is the sweetest to his fans! My niece and her friend’s lives were made last night at the preseason game when Kelce gave them his gloves he played in the game with.”
“Both girls play flag football and big fans of Kelce but… also… we big swifties too!,” she added.
And the comments section was flooded with people praising the tight end for his generous gesture.
“You got his ’22 hat,'” one person joked, referencing a moment from Swift’s Eras Tour shows.
“Taylor does this for her fans as well. Looks like that energy is in Travis as well, what a guy!,” another person posted.
“Their little elated faces 🥰 what a memory!,” a fan commented.
“Taylor has taught him well,” another fan wrote.
“Trav is the best, and he’s always been incredibly kind to locals and fans!,” one fan stated.

“It was a fun offseason, man, wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration. But it’s football, baby.”
The tight end also spoke about the venue they chose, which happened to be Madison Square Garden.
“MSG, man. You know, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking. Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” he explained. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.”
“I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect. And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part,” he added.
