Bachelor Nation just got a little bit bigger.
Jen Saviano announced she’s expecting her second child with husband Landon Ricker, sharing the news in a sweet Instagram video posted Thursday, March 12. The “Bachelor in Paradise” and “The Bachelor” alum revealed the pregnancy in a sunset beach video featuring the couple and their son, Wilder.
“Answered prayers >,” she captioned the post.
In the clip, Saviano cradles her baby bump while standing on the beach at sunset. Wilder can be seen sweetly kissing her belly and holding up his mom’s sonogram photos, making for a family moment that quickly had Bachelor Nation celebrating in the comments
Saviano—who first appeared on Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” in 2016 before later joining two seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise”—welcomed Wilder with Ricker in 2022.
A few “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” stars took to Saviano’s comments with well wishes for the mommy-of-two-to-be.
“Yayyy congratulations!!!!” said Ashley Iaconetti.
“Congrats ❤️,” commented Amanda Stanton.
“Yes!!! 🥹🥹🥹,” added Lauren Lane, who was known as Lauren Bushnell when she won Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” in 2016.
Jen Saviano’s History With Ben Higgins & Nick Viall on ‘The Bachelor’ & ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
GettySaviano first joined Bachelor Nation on season 20 of “The Bachelor,” which starred Ben Higgins.
During the season, Saviano received what many fans consider Higgins’ first “real” kiss of the show during the high school-themed nostalgia group date. (The first actual kiss, however, came after Lace Morris stole a quick limo-exit kiss on night one.) Saviano ultimately made it to Week 5 before Higgins sent her home.
She later returned to the franchise on season 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2016, where she formed one of the season’s central relationships with Nick Viall.
At the time, Viall had already appeared on two seasons of “The Bachelorette” (seasons 10 and 11) and was widely rumored to become the next Bachelor—though the cast (or himself) didn’t know it yet.
Throughout the season, Saviano and Viall built a strong connection, and he even selected an engagement ring during the finale. However, in a surprising twist, Viall ultimately chose not to propose and ended the relationship instead.
“It’s not easy saying goodbye to someone as incredible as [Jen],” Viall wrote on Instagram after the finale aired. “One of the most beautiful, graceful, and intelligent women I’ve ever met. So lucky to have had her in my life. She deserves the world.”
It’s worth noting that the franchise announced Viall as the lead for season 21 of “The Bachelor” while “Bachelor in Paradise” was still airing—effectively revealing that his relationship with Saviano wouldn’t make it off the beach.
Saviano later returned to “Bachelor in Paradise” for Season 6 in 2019.
Her brief appearance sparked a short-lived love triangle between herself, Chris Bukowski, and Katie Morton. After arriving during week 3, Saviano went on a boat date with Bukowski—an outing made memorable when he became seasick during the excursion.
Bukowski ultimately chose to pursue his relationship with Morton, and Saviano was sent home without receiving a rose.
