Former “Chrisley Knows Best” star Savannah Chrisley was surprised by her hosting experience on the daytime talk series “The View.”
Chrisley hosted the talk series for a week in mid-February, filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin. Griffin welcomed her first son, Justin Patrick Griffin, Jr., with her husband Justin on February 10, 2026.
In an episode of the show’s podcast “Behind the Table,” Chrisley admitted she came into the experience with some preconceived notions. She was happily “wrong.”
What Was Savannah Chrisley’s Experience as a ‘View’ Co-Host?

“I came into this with some ideas of what was going to happen,” Savannah Chrisley said of her appearance as a panelist on “The View” on the “Behind the Table” podcast, hosted by show producer Brian Teta. “I thought Whoopi [Goldberg] and Joy [Behar] were going to be a pain and just these mean women.”
“And I was wrong… Yes, I was wrong, and I went into this, and it goes to show: stop judging,” Chrisley declared.
She added, “Joy and I had a blast off camera. I mean, she’s hysterical, and she was asking me about my parents. She was like, ‘What did they go to prison for?’ I go, ‘Joy, you should know. You called them “tax cheats.”
“It’s the funniest thing, though. Like, you literally tell her something, and she talks about it, and then she forgets it.”
