Season 8 of “Welcome to Plathville” premiered on TLC on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. While Ethan Plath confirmed during the season premiere that he and Teegan Nichols had broken up, he admitted he still hoped the pair could reconcile.
As viewers watched throughout the season, Ethan even moved from Georgia to Teegan’s home state of Wisconsin without telling her beforehand in an effort to win her back.
While Teegan later accompanied Ethan on a family vacation to Montana and made sure he was not alone during Christmas, it now appears Ethan’s hopes of rekindling the relationship did not work out.

As soon as Teegan posted her update to social media, fans quickly flooded her comment section with supportive messages.

Ethan Plath Introduced Teegan Nichols During Season 7
Ethan hard launched his relationship with Teegan Nichols during Season 7 of “Welcome to Plathville.” On the episode that premiered on August 5, 2025, Ethan introduced Teegan to fans, saying, “Out of the blue, I found the one.” At the time, the duo had been dating for 10 months, with Ethan living in Minnesota and Teegan living in Wisconsin.
