Longtime fans of TLC’s “Sister Wives” have seen Janelle Brown go through some tough times in recent years. From the dissolution of her nearly 30-year spiritual marriage to Kody Brown in 2022 to the loss of her beloved son, Garrison, in 2024, fans have continued to witness Janelle handle these challenges with poise and grace.
After watching Janelle navigate so much, fans have continued to root for her to find happiness as she moves into the next chapter of her life. By the looks of a recent social media post, the 56-year-old appears to be finding her spark for life once again.
What to Know About ‘Sister Wives’ Star Janelle Brown’s Taeda Farms
Following the tragic loss of her 25-year-old son, Garrison Brown, in March 2024, the ‘Sister Wives’ star made the decision to move from Arizona to North Carolina. The move was also sparked by Janelle’s desire to be closer to her oldest daughter, Maddie Brush, and her grandchildren in North Carolina. Maddie and her husband, Caleb Brush, share four children: Axel, Evie, Joey, and Emilia.
In moving to North Carolina, Brown realized she wanted to put down roots. Having shared with TLC cameras several years earlier that she had dreams of having multiple large greenhouses out on the Coyote Pass, the Brown family’s former Arizona property, Janelle’s dream got a whole lot bigger once in North Carolina.
In partnership with Maddie and Caleb, Brown purchased a 156-acre flower farm near Chocowinity, North Carolina. While Taeda Farms is still coming to life on the flower side of things, both Janelle and the Brush family have started putting down their own roots with their new house builds on the North Carolina farm property.

In a recent Instagram post, Brown noted that fans had been asking about the thin little cupboard by the kitchen sink. The star went on to reveal that it’s actually a neat little pull-out spice rack.
The “Sister Wives” star captioned her post, “Loving all of the little details of this home coming together… especially this little spice rack. Do you have any fun little hidden gems in your house?”
Along with her Instagram updates, fans might just get to see more details of Janelle Brown’s new North Carolina farmhouse on the upcoming season of “Sister Wives.” While no specific release date has been confirmed for Season 21, cast members have revealed that filming for the new season is already underway.
