After watching 20 Seasons of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” longtime fans have come to know the Brown family well. Since the series premiered in September 2010, the family has undergone significant changes, both on and off-screen. However, despite the love and loss fans have watched the family endure, there is still plenty to celebrate when it comes to the Browns.
Celebratory milestones seem to be abundant among the multitude of Brown siblings. Maddie Brush, the oldest daughter of Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, is one of the Brown siblings who has much to celebrate as of late. The “Sister Wives” star recently took to social media to share a heartwarming update with fans.
‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brush Shares an Update With Fans on Instagram
As “Sister Wives” fans may remember, Maddie Brush and her mother, Janelle Brown, are in the process of building new homes on their North Carolina farm. The 30-year-old recently took to Instagram to give fans an update on Taeda Farms and the Brush family’s newly built house.
The “Sister Wives” star shared a photo that shows her family enjoying some quality time on their newly built front porch. Brush captioned the photo, “This is what I hoped for. This was my lemonade. After a hellish week of flooding dishwasher and crazy water filters, today was a reminder of what I needed! It was a reminder of what we are hoping to build! Cheers to amazing siblings!”
The siblings Brush is referring to are Mykelti Padron, Paedon Brown, and Savanah Brown. Maddie, the first in the family to move to North Carolina, seems to be the leader in convincing more and more family members to relocate there as well.
When Did Maddie Brush Move to North Carolina?
Maddie Brush moved to North Carolina with her husband, Caleb Brush, in 2019. A few years later, Maddie’s parents, Kody and Janelle, ended their nearly 30-year-long spiritual marriage. Living in Flagstaff, Arizona, at the time, Janelle faced some tough decisions about her next chapter.
Ultimately, Janelle decided to follow her oldest daughter to North Carolina to be closer to her and her grandbabies. Maddie and Caleb are parents to four children: Axel, Evie, Joey, and Emilia. Once relocated, Janelle, Maddie, and Caleb made the bold decision to buy a 156-acre flower farm, which they have renamed Taeda Farms. Janelle isn’t the only Brown family member to follow Maddie’s lead, either.
How Many Brown Siblings From ‘Sister Wives’ Live In North Carolina?
In addition to Maddie, there are three other Brown siblings who currently live in North Carolina. The youngest sibling in North Carolina is Savanah Brown, the youngest daughter and sixth child of Kody Brown and Janelle Brown. Janelle was Kody’s second wife. The former couple shares six children: Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Garrison, Gabe, and Savanah.
The third Brown sibling to make the move to North Carolina was Mykelti Padron. Mykelti is the second-oldest daughter of Kody Brown and Christine Brown. The “Sister Wives” star is married to Tony Padron. The couple is parents to three children, Avalon, Archer, and Ace.
The Padron family made the move from Utah to the Charlotte area in 2024. Mykelti revealed to TLC cameras that the move was largely driven by her husband’s career as a chess instructor and streamer, and Charlotte being a hub for chess players.
The most recent addition to the North Carolina crew is Paedon Brown. Paedon is the third of six children born to Kody Brown and Christine Brown, and their only son. Christine was Kody’s third wife. The former couple shares six children: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. Paedon lives in the Raleigh area, which puts him much closer to Taeda Farms.
Only time will tell how many more Brown siblings will join the growing crew in North Carolina. As for now, Janelle Brown can enjoy spending time with all of her grandbabies in North Carolina, and the Brown siblings can enjoy spending time on a stunning front porch with rocking chairs and a view.
