“Totally ’90s House” star Brian Austin Green and fiancée Sharna Burgess are ready to tie the knot in Ireland—or are they?
Earlier this summer, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro took to social media to announce that the couple had found their wedding venue. However, according to Green, that may not be the case.
Wedding Plans
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum cleared up confusion on the pair’s wedding rumors.
“Wedding location found 🥰🤩,” Sharna captioned a photo dump shared via Instagram in June.
The couple posed in front of the Adare Manor Hotel in Limerick, Ireland.
Sharna’s cheeky announcement quickly began circulating online, with many outlets publishing stories of the couple’s wedding plans.
“Sharna and I were just in Ireland,” Brian told ET in an interview shared to YouTube. “We were at this Adare Manor. We went there for lunch and she kind of jokingly sort of put this post up and she was like, ‘We found our wedding location.’ And everyone was like, ‘Congratulations.’ And it’s like, ‘No, no, we didn’t mean it literally.'”
He added, “But it’s we’re just rolling with it. So, apparently that’s where we’re going. We’ve gotten some offers now of some people that want to like photograph and, you know, document the whole thing just on the house. So, thank you for that.”
While Adare Manor may not be the exact location, the former Hallmark star teased that the ceremony will be in Ireland.
“We are still setting the date as we were, but it is going to be glorious, and it’s going to be in Ireland,” the new HGTV star said.
Brian and Sharna
Brian recently opened up about being set up on a date with Sharna by their shared business manager.
“And then I had a business manager who said, ‘I’ve got a client that I think you should meet. When I’m with you, you remind me of her. When I’m with her, it reminds me of you. Like, I really think there’s something there that’s interesting,'” he sid during an appearance on the “Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson” podcast in August. “This woman is not a matchmaker.”
The pair met up for coffee and ended up talking for six hours.
“We connected in this really cool way of we weren’t putting like the mask on of, ‘Hey this is the best version of me for you to see,'” he continued. “There wasn’t the pressure of like, ‘Oh it’s a first date.'”
Throughout their coffee date, the pair “talked about what we’re good at, [and] what we’re not good at.”
Their relationship progressed quickly and they planned a second date for just two days later. They were later partnered together during season 30 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Despite not taking home the Mirrorball trophy, BAG proposed in June 2023, one year after welcoming their son Zane Walker Green.
“We were very much in line with what we saw life being and what we valued in friendships with people and in life itself,” he said. “Then it was like oh okay this is no brainer.”
