Within a couple of hours of Stamos posting his revealing bathroom photo, with his toned torso and muscular arms on full display, the post had been flooded with nearly 30,000 likes on Instagram and over 1,500 comments — including some from his “Full House” family.

Kelly Rizzo, who was married to late “Full House” patriarch Bob Saget, wrote, “All I can think about is “what would Bob say” right now 🥹🥹😂😂. happy birthday brother John I love you! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂”

Candace Cameron Bure, who played Stamos’ eldest niece on “Full House” and “Fuller House,” made no mention of his naked pic and simply wrote, “Happy birthday Uncle J 🥳”

Many fans felt their temperature rising with the unexpected post, including one comment with over 1,100 likes that said, “Not John Stamos with the thirst trap 🪤”

John Stamos Takes His Fitness Seriously & Has Changed His Diet

Two weeks before his surprise thirst trap photo, Stamos talked about his commitment to fitness in another social media shared by his “elite performance coach,” Frank Fodera Jr.. Stamos said he swears by his Fodera Functional Fitness, a Los Angeles-based training system and wellness brand that includes an EMS (or electrical muscle stimulation) suit.

Stamos said he works out with Fodera three days a week and wears his EMS suit 20 minutes a day, calling it “the greatest exercise I’ve ever had.” After that, he said, he’ll do cardio, from swimming to climbing the Stairmaster. The “ER” alum also said he’s recently changed to the KETO diet, joking that “Frank’s always busting my balls about the sugar, of course, and protein.”

Stamos said he’s “always worked out,” but when he heard about EMS, he felt compelled to give it a try and that it “changed my life” because he doesn’t have to find time to get to a gym and can utilize it anywhere. He advised others looking to stay fit that “consistency” is key, to “eat well,” and then he smiled, “and have as much sex as you can.”

In 2022, Stamos shared a video of himself doing the EMS portion of his daily routine, wearing a full body suit while rehearsing on the drums for an upcoming Beach Boys tour. He said the suit “blasts an electrical current throughout your body,” and he can feel it work its magic while he drums.
