The former “Baywatch” star, 54, recently posted a series of photos on Instagram, embracing her post-surgery body following her battle with breast cancer.

Eggert Shares Message of Strength and Acceptance After Cancer Journey

Dressed in a lace corset top and jeans, she used the photos to gently reflect both the physical changes she has gone through and a growing sense of acceptance.

Alongside the images, Eggert shared a message that offered insight into how she is navigating this chapter of her life with resilience and hope.

“Grief can arise from many life situations, but know it is not a permanent state of being,” she wrote.

Fans and loved ones quickly filled the comments with messages of love and encouragement, many sharing how deeply her words and honesty resonated.

One fan wrote: “Most beautiful ever!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍💫✨🙏🏼”

Another follower wrote, “I needed to hear this tonight 🙏 Thank you and God bless you always Nicole. I pray for you everyday ❤️,” while another added, “You are gorgeous inside and out! ❤️❤️.”

Others checked in on her well-being, offering support and hope for her continued recovery. “That’s true Nicole. How are you doing now. Hope your life has turned around and on the road to healing. 🙏💙💙💙,” one comment read.

‘Charmed’ Actress Milanno Alysa also shared a heartfelt message: ‘Insanely beautiful and I love you.’

A Challenging Health Journey Marked by Strength

Eggert spoke to People and went public in 2024 with her stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer diagnosis and has continued to speak candidly about her experience.

As she prepared for treatment, she shaved her head before beginning months of chemotherapy and radiation. In August 2025, she underwent a mastectomy, followed by reconstruction.

In a more recent update, she shared that she had a full hysterectomy after additional tests raised concerns. “Test results showed early signs of more cancer. I am grateful to my doctors for keeping such a close eye on me.”

Family Remains Her Greatest Motivation

Throughout her journey, Eggert has drawn strength from her role as a mother. She shares two daughters, Dilyn, 27, and Keegan, 14, and has tried to shield them from the most difficult parts of her experience while staying open and honest.

Reflecting on how she shared the news, she spoke about the emotional weight of that moment.

“Dilyn’s an adult, so I just had a very honest, open conversation with her about it,” she told People magazine in October 2025.

“The look on her face when I told her it was cancer… it just… my world shattered. I knew I couldn’t leave that little girl without me. So it became very clear in that moment that I had to fight this and win.”

Her daughters, she added, remain her greatest source of strength as she focuses on healing and moving forward.

Looking Back at ‘Baywatch’ and Moving Forward

Before her health journey, Eggert was best known for her role as Summer Quinn on “Baywatch,” the globally popular series that helped define an era of television.

She joined the show in its third season but stepped away after two seasons, a choice she has since reflected on with openness.

“I had some crazy idea in my head that if I left the show, I would be able to detach myself from the stigma that the show had given all of us as actors, which is now a thing,” she said.

Eggert shared that she had initially been promised a leading role in a spin-off that ultimately did not move forward.

“They were like, ‘Spin-off? Nothing! This is what’s working, and we want it to stay like this!’”

As a new “Baywatch” reboot moves ahead with a fresh cast, Eggert remains focused on her own journey.

Today, her focus is on healing, gratitude, and acceptance of her body. Through her honesty, she continues to connect with others facing similar challenges, offering a reminder of resilience and the strength it takes to move forward, one step at a time.
