As per People, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that paramedics arrived at 4:48 a.m. after receiving a medical aid call. She was transported to a Los Angeles hospital in serious condition, where efforts were made to stabilize her.
Despite those efforts, the actress later died. The New York Times reported that her agency, Creative Artists Agency, confirmed that O’Hara passed away following what was described as a brief illness. Her cause of death has not been disclosed.
