Tori Spelling Cancels Event Due to Health Reasons

Tori Spelling has announced that she is postponing a highly anticipated Las Vegas event she was set to co-host with “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star Brian Austin Green, saying she must put her health first.

The ’90s After Dark party — scheduled for Dec. 28 at Voltaire inside The Venetian Resort — was meant to be a nostalgic celebration of fan culture, music and community.

Instead, Spelling shared that an undisclosed illness has made it necessary to delay the event until a later date.

Spelling Expressed Sadness Over Having to Postpone the Event

The 52-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 26, to express her disappointment about the postponement.

“Hey loves 🤍,” Spelling started to message. “This hurts to share, but I need to be honest with you. I’m sick and have to postpone our After Dark event this Sunday night in Las Vegas.”

“I’ve been counting down the days to see you, and it truly breaks my heart to pause something I was so excited for,” she added.

Spelling added that she had to “listen to my body and choose my health.”

She promised that the event would be rescheduled for a future date.

“Thank you for always showing me so much love and understanding,” she added. “A new date is coming very soon — and I can’t wait to see you After Dark 🍑 soon. 💕 @brianaustingreen #BrianandToriAfterDarkinVegas.”

The ’90s After Dark party was designed as a one-night-only event aimed at transporting fans back to the vibrant music and culture of the 1990s.

The event had promised a DJ set featuring ’90s hits, surprise guests and even a special performance by R&B group Color Me Badd, adding to the promise of a fun and memorable evening.

Everyone Was Looking Forward to the Event

Spelling’s “90210” costar Brian Austin Green — who played her on-screen love David Silver — had been promoting the event on social media leading up to the holiday.

On Christmas, Green shared a post encouraging fans to attend the party after a Backstreet Boys concert nearby, describing it as an “epic” night in the making. As of the announcement, he has not issued a comment on the postponement.

Fans have responded with an outpouring of support for Spelling, many expressing understanding and well wishes for her health.

“Feel better, Tori! Love you!” one fan wrote.

Another added, “Praying for you and healing thoughts.”

“So bummed!” another began. “Was super excited to this, but your health is what matters here! I hope you feel better soon.”

The postponement comes amid what has been a busy and emotional period for the actress, who has previously spoken candidly about health challenges in recent years — including a bout with a severe mold issue back in May of 2023 at her former home that affected her entire family.
