“Katy feels very let down and humiliated by Orlando,” a source told the outlet, adding that she now realizes “he wasn’t the right person for her” and worries this may end any chance of friendship. “She hoped they’d both be mature after the break-up, so she’s feeling really disappointed.”

In August 2025, Us Weekly confirmed that Perry and Trudeau’s Montreal dinner was “definitely a date.” A source described it as casual, explaining that the two had been in touch for about a month and shared mutual contacts in the music industry.
“This is all new to her as she hasn’t dated in so many years, and it’s been exciting to put herself out there again,” the insider said. While Perry is “excited to move on” from Bloom, the source added she “isn’t looking for anything serious” due to her limited free time.
