Kelly Clarkson opened up about an ex-manager who told her to get plastic surgery, revealing that she had some choice words for him. The “American Idol” winner told the story during a recent concert, earning cheers from the audience after sharing her reaction.
Kelly Clarkson’s Former Manager Told Her to Get a Boob Job
During her November 8 “Studio Sessions” Las Vegas show, Clarkson faced a potential wardrobe malfunction with her jumpsuit’s revealing plunging neckline.
In a video taken at the concert, Clarkson, wearing a black jumpsuit with sequins and feathers, noticed she was getting word to make an adjustment. “Are my boobs coming out?” she asked.
“I had some [expletive] manager one time tell me to get a boob job,” Clarkson shared. “I was like, ‘Why don’t you get a [expletive] job? I’m fine with my itty-bitty [expletive]! Get out of here … Who says that [expletive]?”
She continued, “People say that [expletive]. They say it all the time to people in the industry. They say the craziest [expletive]. I’m like, ‘This is not normal, you’ve normalized crazy.'”
“Everybody out here looking like they’re in the Capitol in ‘Hunger Games,'” the singer joked. “Calm down, just get old. Be glad, not everybody gets to get old, you know what I’m saying? Do you, but don’t make me do you, you know?”
She added, “And I like my itty-bitty [expletive], they’ve served me well.”
Clarkson Shared Her ‘Wild’ Concert Experiences
On November 8, Clarkson took to Instagram to share some images from her Vegas show.
“Last night was wild — I officiated my first vow renewal and someone got engaged! The night was filled with love … and breakup songs 💖💔,” she wrote in the caption. “Your move tonight, Vegas! #StudioSessions #KellyInVegas.”
During the show, she helped with a vow renewal for a couple celebrating 10 years together. “You made it a decade? [Expletive] yeah, look at that!” she told the couple.
She joked, “If Blake Shelton can do this, any [expletive] person can do this. They’ll let anyone do it.”
Clarkson read their prepared vows, saying, “Do you both promise to keep dancing through life together — this is amazing! — offbeat or not, for at least another 10 years?”
She added, “[Expletive] that — 50, 60. Aim high!”
Clarkson was also part of an engagement that took place in the audience, cheering the fan to “speak louder!” After they popped the question, she quipped, “Say yes, [expletive]!”
One of them told her, “You’re invited to the wedding now!”
